Football.Fun is launching the second sale of its Founders Pack with a novel qualifying phase that introduces a tournament-based access system. This system invites both seasoned and new players to compete in designated tournaments to earn the latest player cards. The first of three scheduled drops, known as Founders Pack 2, will bring 60 new players into the game, starting with the first group of 20 in Round 2.1.
Access Mechanics and Tournament Importance
The entry to purchase Founders Pack 2.1 is intricately linked to player performance in forthcoming tournaments. Players are required to accumulate Tournament Points (TP) by participating in scheduled tournaments from September 16 to 19 and September 19 to 23. These points are essential, as player rankings will be based on the TP collected and their expenditure of gold during gameplay. Additionally, a revamped loyalty score system will now include historical performance data, trading activities, and more, ensuring that the scores reflect prolonged engagement on the platform.
System Transition and New Gameplay Economy
A critical transition will occur on September 23, when Football.Fun will shift from a dual-currency system to a single currency system. TP will become the sole in-game currency, necessitating players to use all their Skill Points (SP) by this date. Post-deadline, any SP remaining will be automatically converted to TP at an equivalent value. This change is aimed to simplify the acquisition of new players and maintain player value, even as TP awards from tournaments and pack pricing are adjusted.
Loyal Players and Future Rewards
Continuing its focus on rewarding loyalty, Football.Fun is updating its system to count more comprehensive interaction data from the platform. Approximately 10% of all Founders Pack 2 cards have been earmarked for players who show consistent engagement and participation from the start of the professional version. This refined approach aims to distribute rewards more equitably and prepare for a more robust loyalty program anticipated later in the year.
