A Halloween event is now live in Gable Guardians, with 20,000 $SKR and 200,000 $PLAY PLAY $0.03167 ▼ -11.5% to be distributed over October. For the occasion, the Solana MMORPG added a new NPC, Morwen the Lantern Witch, who appears in Runar City and its four elemental cities.
The team announced the launch on X: “Our Halloween event has already started.”

The event runs from Oct. 1 to Oct. 31, UTC. Players have until Nov. 2 to claim.
How rewards are distributed
The game’s documentation says 85% of the pool is paid out across 31 daily budgets. The remaining 15% is kept in reserve as a bonus reward on Oct. 31.
Each day from 00:10 UTC, after the settlement is verified, players can claim the token reward from the day before. A new ritual unlocks at the same time.
A ritual has several steps. Players must defeat 150 eligible PvE enemies and claim the combat mission, complete the 60-minute active connection mission, and gather at least five candy points and one Black Candle. After that, they go to Morwen and pick SKR, PLAY, an altar item or a candy offering to the Fox.
Every wallet can complete one ritual per UTC day. The cap applies across all of that wallet’s characters and devices.
GABLE-priced pacts
Morwen’s Samhain Pact went on sale Sept. 25. It comes in three tiers, each priced in GABLE at a dollar equivalent.
At the equivalent of $1, the Basic pact keeps base drop rates. The $5 Standard tier gives a 10% relative boost to common drops and a 10% EXP bonus, plus five HP and five SP pumpkins every day. The $10 Premium tier raises the relative drop boost to 20% and the EXP bonus to 25%, and hands out 10 HP and 10 SP pumpkins daily.
According to the documentation, the higher tiers improve HP/SP pumpkin and candy collection, “not whistles, seeds or rare scales.”
Bosses and candy
Throughout October, Pumpkin King and Silly Halloween spawn on a daily schedule. A Samhain Whistle also lets players summon them.
The ritual system runs on candy. Soul Candy, Spiced Candy and Black Candle are soulbound, while Blue Candy is tradable. Morwen’s altar offers items with daily stock limits. One example is Ember of Growth, priced at eight candy points, with 1,000 units of daily stock and a cap of 31 per wallet.
HP Pumpkin, SP Pumpkin and Lantern Seed are among the other event items.
The Fox community pact
A separate community pact is run by the Fox. Its GABLE target was fixed once at the start of October at the GABLE equivalent of 3 SOL, and there is a separate candy target as well.
The rules state: “All contributions are final and non-refundable.”
Last-day bonuses
The 15% reserve unlocks on Oct. 31. That same day, pact holders receive an additional 50 percentage points of EXP, and the relative drop chance for HP/SP pumpkins rises by 10%.
Nov. 1 and 2 bring no new Halloween drops, rituals, pass bonuses or Fox contributions. In those two days, players can still claim their October rewards and swap remaining materials for whatever altar stock is still available.
Background
Gable Guardians is playable on the web and designed for Solana Mobile hardware, including Seeker and PlaySolana’s PSG1, with an Android version also on offer. Gargoyles, weapons, armor and skills are NFTs. The game pays rewards in PLAY, SKR, GABLE, SOL and gold-backed GOLD.
Earlier in 2026, a Seeker mob that drops $SKR on defeat was added to the game. On X, the team said Gable Guardians won both the Play Solana Matrix Hackathon and the Bags Hackathon.
Morwen departs at 00:00 UTC on Nov. 3. Any unclaimed rewards and unused event materials expire then, and leftover funds remain with the game for future events.
