These tokens play a crucial role in the Gala Games ecosystem. The lawsuit alleges that Thurston used a convoluted series of transactions to move, exchange, or sell the tokens, which added up to around $130 million before the company could respond.

According to the lawsuit, Thurston and his investment vehicle True North United Investments, LLC, have been accused of taking 8,645,014,077 GALA tokens from the company through a complicated series of transactions worth around $130 million before the company could take any action. Additionally, the lawsuit reveals that the SEC previously sued Thurston and True North for fraudulent activities related to a crypto token venture called “GREEN.”
