GAM3S.GG, a web3 gaming platform, has announced a strategic partnership with Arbitrum, an Ethereum Layer 2 scaling solution.
This collaboration includes technical integration and event sponsorship. The partnership will also see Arbitrum as a key sponsor for the upcoming third annual GAM3 Awards.
Omar Ghanem, Co-founder and CEO of GAM3S.GG, expressed his excitement about the integration, stating that it will deliver faster transactions and scalable solutions to all users.
The infrastructure migration will involve the entire Web3 ecosystem of GAM3S.GG, enhancing token and staking contracts, quest engine capabilities, and the on-chain layer of the Battle Pass system for Season 1. This move aims to improve platform performance and scalability and reduce transaction fees for users.
The 2024 GAM3 Awards will take place live in Manila, Philippines. The expanded format will feature over 70 jury members, 21 categories, and a $5 million prize pool. The event will build on last year’s success, which attracted over 450,000 votes from 50,000 live viewers.
Arbitrum-Developed Games Receive 14 Nominations at GAM3 Awards
Games developed on the Arbitrum platform have received 14 nominations across various categories at the upcoming GAM3 Awards. Notable titles such as The Beacon, Pirate Nation, and AI Arena have been recognized for their achievements.
The awards also include a new category, “Best Ecosystem,” where Arbitrum has been acknowledged for its impact in the Web3 gaming industry.
Voting for the awards has begun and will continue until November 15th. Nina Rong, Head of Partnerships at Arbitrum Foundation, commended GAM3SGG for its leadership in advancing web3 gaming and expressed excitement about supporting the platform’s growth on Arbitrum.
