The legendary British chef and TV star Gordon Ramsay has announced that his all-loving cooking competition, Hell’s Kitchen, is coming to The Sandbox.
Gordon Ramsay himself made the announcement on his Twitter account, calling it the “most amazing virtual restaurant. Even though we’ve seen the official announcement from the chef himself, we don’t know the release date.
The Sandbox On Hell’s Kitchen
“Only the greatest chefs can survive Hell’s Kitchen. Are you up to the task? Create outstanding new dishes, win competitions, collect recipes and compete for your chance to make it to Head Chef. It’ll be a delicious experience!”
The Sandbox will offer one of the finest dining experiences in the metaverse on ITV’s LAND. “There’s nothing more exciting to me than chartering new territory, whether it’s creating a signature dish, a new restaurant concept, a new show, or now a virtual experience in The Sandbox,” said Gordon Ramsey.
“I’ve been fascinated by The Sandbox and its offering in the metaverse. I couldn’t think of a better platform to bring the high energy of my Hell’s Kitchen restaurant and brand,” he added.
Hell’s Kitchen
In Hell’s Kitchen, A celebrity chef (none other than Gordon Ramsay) puts aspiring young chefs through rigorous tests and assigns them several challenges in his kitchen in order to determine a winner. In this American Reality show, two teams of chefs compete for the job of Head Chef at one of the restaurants.
What we like about the show is Ramsey roasts the contestants when they make a mistake, keeping the show full of fun and tension. We often see him get angry as well, which complements the show.
Hell’s Kitchen was nominated for six Primetime Emmy Awards. The show has completed 20 seasons, the good news is that it has been renewed for the 21st and 22nd seasons.
