GTA 6 reportedly has 55 achievements set up, a new leak claims. That would be more than Rockstar Games included in GTA 5 or Red Dead Redemption 2, and the gap grows wider if you look only at single-player content.
This comes with a large caveat: it’s leaked information. Rockstar Games hasn’t officially confirmed the 55-achievement figure, so it should be treated as unverified until the official trophy and achievement lists are published.
Where the leak came from
The source is Tex2, a member of a GTA fan forum who also uses the name TexFunz2. The GTA community on social media later spread the post.
Tex2 says 54 of the achievements currently carry values between 1 and 54. The last one is valued at 1,000.
Fans have focused on that unusual figure. One theory is that the 1,000-value entry is a reward for completing the full list, which would make it a Platinum Trophy on PS5 or a Mythic Achievement on Xbox Series X|S. It may also mean nothing at all, since the values could be placeholders Rockstar replaces before release.
How the leaked count compares with GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2
Set against Rockstar’s earlier games, the number stands out. The base PS5 trophy list for GTA 5 has 51 trophies, yet just 33 of those relate to offline play. GTA Online objectives and the Platinum Trophy account for the others.
Red Dead Redemption 2 follows the same pattern. Of its 52 PlayStation trophies, 34 are tied to the single-player game, while Red Dead Online achievements and the Platinum Trophy fill out the rest.
Do the math with the leaked figures. Should the GTA 6 list cover only single-player content (a big assumption), its 54 regular achievements would be close to double the single-player trophy count of either older game.
That might mean more activities, collectibles, side missions and challenges to complete. Still, an achievement total alone doesn’t prove how much content the game will contain.
What the leak leaves out
None of the achievements in the leak come with names or unlock requirements. There’s no indication of how difficult they’ll be or how long a full completion will take.
Completionists have a number to go on and plenty of guesswork. The timing is strange too: GTA 6 is now near its November 19, 2026, release date, and the years of “before GTA 6” memes are about to end. Leaks are still appearing online regardless, and this is one Jason couldn’t fix.
Until Rockstar releases the actual list, the details are 54 entries valued from 1 to 54, a single entry valued at 1,000, and a forum user’s claim that the setup is genuine.
