Gunzilla Games has officially released Off The Grid on Steam, bringing its cyberpunk battle royale shooter out of Early Access with a major content update and cross-platform support.

The full launch includes a new patch with significant gameplay changes, new cosmetic rewards, and a cinematic trailer highlighting PC vs Console crossplay.

The Steam release marks a key milestone for Off The Grid, which is already available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and the Epic Games Store. Players across all platforms can now compete thanks to full crossplay functionality. To celebrate, the team released a new cinematic trailer that showcases the game’s dynamic battles between PC and console players.

New Battle Pass Content and Cosmetic Reward

A large update accompanied the Steam launch, unlocking Battle Pass Sections 3 and 4. Section 3 includes the Drone Operator skin, the Kite Buzzboy weapon, and themed emotes and gear. Section 4 introduces the Zero Chill cosmetic line with a matching outfit, weapon, and emote. This patch also closed the Red, White and Boom Event, removing its themed content.

Gunzilla also made major changes to gameplay balance. The Buzzkilla cyberlimb now fires in three-shot bursts, with damage and health adjusted accordingly. New attachments for the Kite SMG were added, giving players more customization options. Movement bugs, animation issues, and shoulder-switching interruptions were also fixed, improving overall performance and combat flow.

Improved UI and Lobby Experience

Several user interface bugs were addressed, including missing hints in the lobby and loot interaction issues on the Marshlands map. Climbing exploits and zipline-related problems have also been resolved, creating a more polished experience.

Web3 Expansion With GUN Token on Solana

On the blockchain side, Gunzilla expanded its $GUN token to the Solana network, aiming to lower entry barriers for users. Previously available only on Avalanche, this move enables broader access to the in-game economy. Players can now trade skins and gear using the token, with over $666,000 in volume reported in the past month despite a recent price dip.

Gunzilla’s GUNZ mainnet now hosts more than 21,000 players and supports over 17 million wallets. Tools like DEGENRADAR and OTG Meta allow users to track the in-game market and customize their cyberlimb loadouts. The new Cyberlancer limb adds fresh mechanics like dash attacks and bleeding damage.

The roadmap includes further marketplace expansion, OpenSea integration, and new gameplay features. While the Steam version runs on a testnet for now, Gunzilla is expected to transition to full mainnet support. The studio also hinted at upcoming reveals using its HEX system, with more updates coming later this month.
