Immutable, a gaming platform based on web3 technology, has recently announced a strategic partnership with crypto exchange OKX. As part of this collaboration, a gaming launchpad will be launched on OKX’s popular NFT marketplace. Additionally, OKX’s web3 wallet will integrate Immutable’s zkEVM and Passport service. The OKX web3 marketplace will also be included in Immutable’s orderbook and Marketplace network. Furthermore, the OKX ecosystem will support the Immutable zkEVM.
Immutable has plans to release several highly anticipated games on its zkEVM mainnet, which was launched at the end of January. Some of the notable titles that are expected to be released include Guild of Guardians, MetalCore, and Shardbound.
Jason Lau, who is the Chief Innovation Officer of OKX, expressed his enthusiasm about their partnership by stating that they are committed to making their wallet and marketplace the best way to access the next generation of games and their items. He added that Web3 gaming is on the brink of becoming mainstream.
Immutable co-founder and president Robbie Ferguson also shared his thoughts on the collaboration, saying, “Collaborating with OKX aligns with our mission to bring digital proprietorship to every gamer in the world. OKX’s robust ecosystem and cutting-edge technology combined with Immutable’s web3 gaming expertise allows us to open new gaming experiences for millions of players worldwide.”
The OKX GameFi launchpad, a result of this partnership, is expected to be launched in the upcoming months. This collaboration signifies a step forward in the integration of blockchain technology in the gaming industry, providing new opportunities for gamers and investors alike.
