On Friday, Immutable shared some details in which the firm announced a $500M fund to boost web3 and blockchain games adoption.
Immutable has already developed Gods Unchained and Guild of Guardians and now they are heading towards helping the new developers build their projects. The firm is also hiring new talent from leading game studios such as Riot Games. With the extensive experience and talented developers, they are committed to providing a mesmerizing experience in their future projects.
According to Immutable, the fund will be divided into two parts – ventures and grants. Both these will be focused on boosting the global adoption of blockchain games.
In ventures, Immutable will partner will leading venture funds to support the developers and give them the platform to complete their web3 gaming projects. The leading firms that are already on track are King River Capital, Animoca Brands, BITKRAFT, Aintree, GameStop, and many others.
When it comes to grants, all token-related investments will be made along with Immutable X, and the native token on the L2 platform.
