Kindra goes live on Telegram as a Mini App, with Stars powering the in-game shop

kindra goes live on telegram as a mini app with stars powering the in In Brief:

In Brief:

  • Kindra, the 3D skilling MMO built on Robinhood Chain, can now be played as a Telegram Mini App via @PlayKindraBot.
  • A Telegram account serves as the login, and players select one of three worlds: EU, US and Africa. Neither a password nor a wallet is needed.
  • Inside the app, mounts, cosmetics and crate keys are purchased with Telegram Stars.

Kindra has arrived on Telegram as a Mini App, according to a post the studio published on X on Sept. 20. Users open @PlayKindraBot, tap Play, and land straight in the game’s valley without entering a password or connecting a wallet.

Login is handled entirely by the Telegram account. From there, players pick one of three worlds, labeled EU, US and Africa.

Kindra is now a @telegram Mini App.
Open @PlayKindraBot, tap Play, and you're in the valley: three worlds (EU, US, Africa), your Telegram account is your login, no password, no wallet needed.
Mounts, cosmetics and crate keys sell for Telegram Stars right inside the app and 80%

Paying with Stars

The in-app shop takes Telegram Stars for mounts, cosmetics and crate keys. The announcement mentions an 80% figure connected to those sales, but the post, as retrieved, breaks off mid-sentence right there, and at the time of writing Kindra had not published the remaining terms anywhere else.

Telegram introduced Stars on June 6, 2024 as its in-app currency for digital goods. It is the sole payment method Telegram allows for purchases within bots and Mini Apps. Developers who earn Stars can convert them into Toncoin or spend them on discounted Telegram ads.

No wallet required

The Telegram launch carries over a position Kindra already holds on the web, where the browser version lets anyone jump in with nothing more than a name. According to the studio, a wallet only needs to be linked for on-chain activity; skilling, building and multiplayer cost nothing, while the token and on-chain market are presented as optional extras.

Kindra runs in the browser on both desktop and mobile, with no download, install or launcher involved. Seven skills level up to 99: Woodcutting, Mining, Fishing, Foraging, Cooking, Crafting and Combat. Alongside those sit quests, bosses, trade roads, a garden, dailies and a market.

The studio positions Kindra as the first playable 3D MMO on Robinhood Chain. Among its signature mechanics is a proximity bonus: gathering close to other players and villagers gives everyone involved up to +60% Kinship XP.

Gold, gems and $KINDRA

Three currencies make up the economy. Gold is the soft currency earned through play, gems are the scarcer mid-tier drop, and $KINDRA is the token living on Robinhood Chain at contract address 0xE44951407D2ed8E73dce4b7002908732BC0d0bC3.

Rare mounts, outfits, gear and Founders’ keys change hands wallet-to-wallet for $KINDRA on a non-custodial basis, with 95% of every sale landing in the seller’s wallet. The gold marketplace applies an 8% tax to each sale, which is burned from the gold supply. Gold trades never mint or burn $KINDRA, and the studio says it does not sell gold at all — every coin is earned in-game.

The team describes the token and on-chain items as cosmetic and ownership-oriented rather than a route to power. Levels, gear and gold are gained by playing, and holder perks are characterised as “flex and convenience, never power.”

None of that shifts with the Telegram build. Stars pay for mounts, cosmetics and crate keys — they don’t buy levels.
