There are three ways to get Candy Corn: monsters, fishing and woodcutting. Taking it to the Candy Witch lets players swap it for a Pumpkin Carriage mount, a Ghost pet, a Spider Cape and other items. The post didn’t give the complete reward list or what each item costs in Candy Corn.
It pointed players to kintara.com and added: “Dusk has fallen across the world.”
Haunted Chests, Zombie Masks and furniture
The Candy Corn trades build on Halloween content the team announced on Oct. 21. At that time, @PlayKintara wrote: “Halloween has taken over Kintara. Haunted Chests, limited cosmetics, rare Zombie Mask drops, event mounts, pets, furniture and more are now live.”
Event furniture is placed in Apartments, which came with version 3.6. The same update brought a multi-tier banking system.
The Reaping runs alongside
Season 2, “The Reaping,” is a Halloween-themed Season Pass that lasts a month. Rewards include resources, Haunted Chests and cosmetics, and each of its two tracks tops out at 1,200,000 XP.
At 500 XP, the free track hands out 150+ Wood and 100+ Stone. Reaching 200,000 XP unlocks five Haunted Chests, followed by a Season 2 T-shirt at 450,000 XP and a Season 2 Hat at 800,000 XP. The Season 2 Crescent sits at the end, at 1,200,000 XP.
Kintara Club members, whose number has been reported at more than 800, have a track of their own. Its rewards include a Reaper Hood at 50,000 XP, a Soul Scythe at 100,000 XP, gold editions of the seasonal clothing and a Season 2 Aura at 1,200,000 XP.
Season 1 lasted from Sept. 1 to Sept. 30.
October’s earlier updates
Two other content drops landed earlier this month. On Oct. 7, Sunken Isles arrived as the game’s first open-water biome, bringing coral reefs, shipwrecks and ultra-rare drops.
The next day, bows were added as Kintara’s first ranged weapon. They’re priced at 50 gold and have a one-in-three chance of hitting for 40 damage.
Mounts are also being taken out of circulation. Over two days, the Stablemaster Gilding feature led to 3,829 mount burns.
Background
Kintara is a browser-based isometric MMO on Solana that launched May 22, 2026. There’s nothing to download, and a player’s account is their Solana wallet. Gameplay covers gathering, crafting, questing, and PvE and PvP combat.
Two currencies are in play. Gold pays for quests, shop purchases, cosmetics and most trades between players. $KINS is the on-chain token, and players can earn it by selling gold on the Marketplace, winning PvP wagers in the Wilderness or landing rare fishing drops.
Over the summer the game topped 20,000 monthly active users, and Dune data cited then put in-game market volume above $450,000. A later report put the figure at 30,000 monthly active users.
When a Marketplace sale settles in $KINS, the seller receives 95%, and the remaining 5% is divided between a token burn and the treasury. Each paid spinner spin costs $3 worth of $KINS. Half of that is burned and the other half goes to the game treasury.
