Lavender Raises .2M in Funding For Its AI-Powered Email Coaching Platform

Lavender, an AI-powered sales email coaching platform, announced yesterday, Feb. 2, that it had raised $13.2M in total funding to accelerate its growth.

The $13.2M came from a Seed ($2.2M) and a Series A ($11M) funding rounds. Norwest Venture Partners led series A with participation from Signia Venture Partners. Additionally, Signia led the seed funding round with participation from CapitalX and Position Ventures.

Lavender will use the capital to expand its team and introduce new AI-powered features that will allow customers to comprehend what they are doing wrong, ultimately generating faster email responses.

Talking about the platform’s impact on customers: “The impact of Lavender has been enormous. Our sellers are writing emails in half the time and getting twice as many replies—and our managers are now coaching strategically instead of on the basics,” said Kyle Coleman, SVP of marketing at Clari.

Lavender’s email assistant supercharges sales reps by reducing customers’ time spent writing emails so that they can focus on building relationships and selling products.

Talking about how the funding will accelerate growth: “This funding quickly accelerates our ability to build the best email experience for sellers around the world,” said Ballance. “Most importantly, we’re creating new jobs as our team of #EmailWizards rapidly expands.”
