Yield Guild Games (YGG) has announced the launch of Pengu Wonderland, a new level in the casual browser game LOL Land. The expansion was developed in partnership with Pengu Asia, a project created by Igloo APAC, part of Pudgy Penguins’ parent company Igloo Inc.
A New Adventure for LOL Land Players
Pengu Wonderland introduces a colorful environment inspired by Asia’s cultural heritage. Players will explore locations modeled after famous landmarks such as China’s Temple of Heaven, Vietnam’s Ben Thanh Market, Taiwan’s Taipei 101, Hong Kong’s HSBC Building, and Malaysia’s Petronas Twin Towers.
Additional regional elements include Singapore’s merlion statue, Filipino jeepneys, and traditional red-sail junk boats.
The collaboration also brings characters from the Pudgy Penguins universe into LOL Land. YGG Play secured licenses for five Pudgy Penguins and 15 Lil Pudgys, including NFTs owned by community members such as Brian, Kinglongwu, and Swam.
The inclusion of these NFTs highlights the project’s commitment to involving existing holders in game content.

Community Growth and Market Performance
LOL Land has shown strong engagement with over 631,000 monthly active users and 69,000 daily players recorded in July. Paying players are highly committed, with an average spend of $434 each. This success has also supported YGG’s token ecosystem, as the guild recently repurchased $518,000 worth of its YGG token using revenue from the game.
Cheryl Law, President of Igloo APAC, described Pengu Wonderland as a celebration of culture and community. “Pengu Wonderland is a celebration of what makes both our communities special. It highlights the richness of Asian culture and our growing cultural footprint in Asia,” she said.
According to Law, the timing is ideal as LOL Land’s simple and enjoyable gameplay makes web3 more approachable for new audiences.
