Moki Direct reveals Moku’s five-game roadmap as Nomgar Clash leads the rollout

moki direct reveals mokus five game roadmap as nomgar clash leads the rollout In Brief:

In Brief:

  • According to Ronin, what began as a routine Fireside session from Moku became a “Moki Direct,” guiding players through a 3D Moki world and an interactive map of the studio’s upcoming titles.
  • The slate includes Nomgar Clash, Grand Arena Season 2, Super Battle Moki, Break and a secret project.
  • Moku intends to roll out the lineup across roughly six months, opening with Nomgar on Sept. 14 and continuing into early 2027.

A surprise “Moki Direct” gave Moku the stage to set out its release roadmap, placing players inside a 3D Moki world where an interactive map showed the games in development.

“What started as a normal Moku Fireside turned into a full Moki Direct,” Ronin wrote on X. The post named Nomgar Clash, Grand Arena S2, Super Battle Moki, Break and “a secret project” among the titles revealed.

The Direct came after a Mokiside Chat earlier in the month, at which Moku outlined a release window of about six months covering five games.

Nomgar Clash opens the calendar

Nomgar, the first title on the schedule, was set for Sept. 14. It is a real-time strategy game for mobile in which players assemble a deck of units, send them down lanes and go after the enemy’s towers.

Every player brings an eight-card deck into a compact arena and uses Soul Energy, which regenerates over time, to cast spells or deploy units. Victory comes from destroying the rival Nexus. Standard matches last three minutes, and overtime settles tight contests.

Units are obtained by burning NFTs. Collections that qualify include Tribesters, Ragmon, Apeiron, Fishing Frenzy and Machines Arena.

Burning happens through a feature called the Forge. When Ragnarok: Monster World closed in December 2025, its RagMon NFTs were left on Ronin with no game attached. Through the Forge, holders can permanently burn an eligible RagMon and get back a corresponding Nomgar of the same rarity and level. The conversion costs 10 Gems plus any Ronin network fee, while other collections receive a fixed reward.

A burn cannot be undone. Burning and minting are handled as separate transactions, and an Activity page records every burn along with whether its reward has arrived.

For the launch, Moku and Ronin have committed 1.2 million bRON to a six-week competition, with weekly payouts going to the top 100 players. Finishers who qualify may also earn Grand Arena Season 2 packs. The core game costs nothing to play, and Nomgar Clash does not market Gold, Gems or its NFTs as investments.

Grand Arena shifts to a share model

Grand Arena Season 2 is planned for October. In it, AI Mokis play Moki Ball, a 3v3 soccer game, without player input. Players assemble a portfolio of Moki shares and earn a portion of weekly reward pools depending on how those Mokis perform.

This departs from Season 1, a fantasy manager format that demanded frequent lineup changes across 12 weeks. Season 2 instead has players collect and hold a stronger roster, with much less day-to-day maintenance.

The season lasts roughly four weeks with payouts every week. Moku is trimming some fees and will direct a share of Grand Arena’s revenue toward purchasing Schiffy. The changes were announced on Sept. 9.

November brings back Super Battle Moki

Super Battle Moki is scheduled for November. The casual autobattler has players send out a lineup of Tamakins with the aim of hitting 10 wins before they run out of four lives.

Its return brings rebalanced stats and reworked character abilities. Moku is planning tournaments as well as a “risk run” mode that introduces wagering.

The game originally entered closed beta in spring 2025, when Moki Genesis holders received early access.

Break arrives last

Break sits furthest down the roadmap, aimed at late 2026 or early 2027. It is a multiplayer battle top game.

Players will assemble their own top from components such as a ring, a core and a tip. Because each piece has its own abilities, players can combine them in search of synergies.

The unnamed project

Ronin did not identify the secret project. During the earlier Mokiside Chat, however, Moku described a fifth release as a game centered on Schiffy, accompanied by an alpha.

Moku characterized it as a casual mobile game in which players dig up relics and sell them to a museum. The company also said that part of the profits from its games will be used to buy and vault Schiffy.

Background

In late 2024, Moku raised $5.35 million in a round led by Sky Mavis, a16z Games and a16z Games Speedrun, with participation from Arca, Framework Ventures and 32-Bit Ventures.

Moku launched bRON, a bonded form of RON, in April 2026. It keeps a 1:1 value with RON but cannot be transferred freely outside the ecosystem.

At the heart of it all remains the Moki Genesis Collection: 8,888 Mokis minted on Ronin.
