Magic Eden began trading NFTs on Solana in September 2021 and later expanded to Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Arbitrum and other EVM networks.

Magic Eden charges a 2% marketplace fee on its Solana marketplace. Creator royalties are optional there: buyers choose how much of a collection's set royalty to pay at checkout, while on its EVM marketplaces the platform follows whatever royalty each collection's own contract sets.
