Among the other investors, we find Divergence Ventures, Sfermion, IDEO CoLab, Hypersphere Ventures, SkyVision capital, and notable individuals like Jeffrey Zirlin (Axie Infinity co-founder) and Stani Kulechov (Aave CEO).
The game has experienced some notable growth in terms of daily active users with an 850% increase in Q2 and over half a million NFTs crafted by the players. On top of that, 2,000 nodes power the fully decentralized network of Nine Chronicles.
Nine Chronicles Introduced Wrapped NCG
Nine Chronicles Gold (NCG), the native cryptocurrency of the blockchain RPG Nine Chronicles will now be available on the Ethereum network as Wrapped NCG (WNCG). The ERC-20 token will be launched through a public sale via SushiSwap’s MISO Launchpad on August 10, at approximately 1 PM UTC.
2,000,000 WNCG tokens at a minimum price of $0.07 will be available in a batch auction that ends on August 17, at 00 UTC. Once the auction ends, the first WNCG/ETH trading pool will be launched on SushiSwap as well.
The price of each token in this batch auction will be decided by dividing the total available number of tokens by the total value committed. For instance, if 200,000 USD is committed by the end of the auction, the price for each token will be $0.10 (200,000 divided by 2,000,000).
The value of Wrapped NCG will be directly tied to the NCG in a 1:1 ratio. An Ethereum – NCG Bridge will also be launched to allow users to migrate their tokens to ERC-20 wallets and trade with better liquidity. The launch of Wrapped NCG will enable NCG to be used in smart contracts on Ethereum and on ERC-20 compatible De-Fi protocols like SushiSwap or Aave for trading, borrowing, lending, and many other purposes.
