This, the studio argued, is “what AI-powered gaming actually looks like.”
What the agent does
The announcement says Oryn guides players and replies to them in real time. Context is the selling point here: an assistant that already understands a player’s location and current activity, instead of needing to be briefed.
Functionally, though, this is more a shift in where the agent lives than in what it does. In an earlier push, the team billed Oryn as a “personal AI assistant” that “delivers real-time insights, tips, and strategies to help you play smarter, earn faster, and level up like a pro.”
Among the capabilities Dypius has attached to Oryn are AI-driven quests, adaptive NPCs, personalized learning journeys and NFT integration. According to the team, WOD holders unlock additional gameplay features and personalized interactions — though no token threshold for those perks has been published.
The model stack
There is no single model behind Oryn. Following an upgrade, the project said the agent pulls from DeepSeek-R1, GPT-4o, Claude and Gemini, on top of Dypius’s own work.
X was the agent’s first home, where it fielded player questions and broadcast game updates. Dypius described that as the opening phase of Oryn’s deployment, with more to come. The agent lives at worldofdypians.com/ai-agent and posts under @Oryn_Agent.
A bigger AI layer
Oryn is far from the only AI presence in the world. Dypius has described intelligence as embedded across the map, citing BNB Chain Humanoids as well as an AI-powered Museum and Academy where AI NPCs — some modeled on CZ — operate in real time.
That AI has been tokenized as well. On the game’s own marketplace, Genesis Land listings carry an “NPC – AI Powered” trait, which turns the presence of an AI character into an attribute of the parcel its owner holds.
Background
World of Dypians is an MMORPG developed by Dypius, using WOD as its currency on BNB Chain. Distribution runs through the Epic Games Store, exposing the game to players who were never hunting for a crypto title in the first place.
Ecosystem usage has been placed by Dypius at 4 million monthly players. Daily figures have been far less steady, at times topping 100,000 and at others falling below 10,000.
May 2026 brought a WOD listing on Binance.US, paired against USDT with deposits and withdrawals handled over BSC. That came after an August 2025 Binance Alpha launch. KuCoin, Gate.io, MEXC, BingX and PancakeSwap also carry the token, and CoinDCX introduced WOD/INR and WOD/USDT pairs in January 2026.
Total supply is capped at 1 billion, with roughly 46% currently circulating and investor allocations unlocking at about 9.5 million tokens per month through 2026. In July 2025 the project burned 245,039 WOD, paid for by in-game activity, and on April 3, 2026 holders voted unanimously to direct reserve funds toward buying WOD back above market price.
Token gates remain central to the in-game economy. The recurring Friday Maze Day event on BNB Chain will not admit players unless they hold at least 400 WOD, after which they can complete the maze and smash the gem at its center for as much as 200,000 points, 800 stars and $100.
Back when Dypius first introduced Oryn to players, the agent got a four-word summary: “Always on. Always helping.”
