PlayZap Flips On AdsToEarn, Rewarding App Players in $PZP for Watching Ads

playzap flips on adstoearn rewarding app players in pzp for watching ads In Brief:

In Brief:

  • PlayZap (official site) has switched on AdsToEarn, a feature that hands mobile app users rewards for viewing ads and channels them toward tournaments settled in $PZP.
  • The feature was first unveiled by the company in March 2025, and it is now being described as live, positioned as an extension of PlayZap’s skill-based tournament model.
  • The move places advertising inventory at the heart of an app whose store listing has advertised ad-free play from the beginning.

AdsToEarn is now active at PlayZap, allowing players to pick up rewards for watching ads within its mobile app and then spend those rewards on tournament entries paid in $PZP.

“AdsToEarn is here,” the company said in a post on X. “Watch. Earn. Play.”

It’s a straightforward loop: an ad gets watched, a reward is collected, and the player then buys into a tournament to chase a bigger pot. According to PlayZap, the feature is “all powered by $PZP.”

What the company has said

The studio first teased the feature back in March 2025, using almost the same language it uses today. “Introducing AdsToEarn in our super gaming app! Watch an ad, earn rewards, and join tournaments for even bigger wins instantly!” it said at the time, describing the move as “taking Skill-to-Earn to the next level, making $PZP more powerful.”

Still missing from any public disclosure: reward rates, daily caps, the ad partners involved, and how ad rewards convert into $PZP. Nor has the company indicated which markets receive the feature first.

Where $PZP fits

Tournaments, PvP matches and jackpot games on PlayZap all take $PZP as the entry currency, and the token also buys limited-edition NFTs. The company says somewhere between 30% and 50% of the match fee gathered from each tournament and PvP match flows back into the incentive pool.

An ad-funded on-ramp effectively opens paid brackets to users who never buy tokens. On a platform whose pitch is “Free to Play, Skill to Earn,” the entry fee has long been the sticking point.

Originally a BEP-20 asset on BNB Chain, the token has since spread to Core, Tezos, Solana and EOS, and its contract has moved to a new address. On April 19, PlayZap listed $PZP on KuCoin, Gate.io, BTSE and MojitoSwap, backed by audits from Certik, Hacken and Solid Proof.

Via Transak, buyers in 160 countries can pick up $PZP with Google Pay, Apple Pay and UPI.

Background

PlayZap runs a single app carrying multiple casual titles — among them solitaire, 21 cards, 8 ball pool and Match Master. Competition comes in the form of daily leagues, group contests and head-to-head PvP, while a daily spin, a daily bonus, referrals and daily quests round out the other earning paths.

More than 2 million players are on the platform, per the company. Its two-year recap pointed to 1.7 million app downloads, 20 games launched and 100 strategic partners, and company posts have placed on-chain transactions north of 1.5 million. Piper Play Technologies Private Limited publishes the app, which is free on both Google Play and the App Store.

The seed round, announced Aug. 4, 2022, was led by KuCoin Labs alongside Arcanum Capital, Oddiyanna Ventures and Prime Block Ventures, with terms undisclosed. KuCoin also brought the Singapore-based company into its incubation program. Across the seed and private rounds, more than 30 investors have taken part, DWF Labs and WeWay included.

At the time, the company said the funding would go toward mobile and desktop development, new game IP, partner onboarding and marketing.

July 2025 brought a partnership with DeFi Cattos that pushed PlayZap into gaming on Aptos. The company also runs an AI gaming agent named Zen.

Meanwhile, the app store listing that has accompanied all of this still says: “PLAY together with players in NO ADS games to EARN TOKEN.”
