Sol Siege dangles Hood Siege Genesis whitelist for players who link EVM wallets

sol siege dangles hood siege genesis whitelist for players who link evm wallets In Brief:

In Brief:

  • Sol Siege (official site) is giving out whitelist spots for a Hood Siege Genesis NFT collection to anyone who ties an EVM wallet to their game account.
  • That wallet link is bound up with the idle title’s departure from Solana for Robinhood Chain, a move that has already knocked servers offline and locked in a final player snapshot.
  • SIEGE, the token on the Solana side, sits at a market cap of roughly $4,300, and the game shipped without a single NFT.

Players who connect an EVM wallet to their Sol Siege account are being offered whitelist access to a Genesis NFT collection called Hood Siege, according to a post the project published on X.

“As part of the migration to Robinhood Chain, make sure to log in to your Sol Siege account and link your EVM wallet,” the project wrote. Those linked wallets will pull double duty, covering both migration rewards and Genesis whitelist allocation.

How the shutdown played out

Sol Siege servers went dark Monday at 09:00 UTC, and the team began capturing a final player snapshot from that moment.

Ahead of the cutoff, the top 100 players were handed a free potion good for one day so they could pull out all their tokens. Staked balances were credited back, every staked position was unstaked, and players were told to withdraw and register EVM wallets.

A migration roadmap was promised within two days of that announcement.

A game that never had NFTs

Built by 0xMaster Studios, Sol Siege is an idle auto-battle wave defender that runs in a browser on desktop and mobile. Players choose between Warrior, Archer or Mage, then watch their character grind through waves of dungeon monsters, collecting SIEGE per kill alongside XP and Scrap Metal.

The fighting happens entirely on its own. Every 10 waves brings a multi-phase boss with reinforcements and enrage mechanics, and the ladder runs 22 monster tiers deep, starting with Slimes at Tier 1 and topping out at Dragons at Tier 22.

Six rarity tiers hold 1,199 unique equipment pieces, and there’s a Mastery system that unlocks at Wave 100 with 14 passive skills, a 40-tier battle pass and daily challenges. An in-game peer-to-peer marketplace, which takes a 20% fee, handles trades of items, weapons and armor.

Class choice also tilts earnings. Mage brings in 20% more SIEGE per kill, making it the farming pick, while Warrior holds the highest damage and HP multipliers and Archer gets the fastest attack speed plus a crit bonus.

None of that gear was ever minted as an NFT. The studio skipped them on purpose, building around the token and around equipment that breaks down into Scrap Metal for crafting. Hood Siege would be its first collection.

The token left behind

SIEGE debuted on pump.fun under the contract JBxEqfH8vzyUCXmWvTesN41ccbxoaESXxuJG9LFWpump. With circulating supply at 964 million, the Solana-side market cap has collapsed to roughly $4,300, on 24-hour volume of around $717.

Solana’s token registry does not list the token as verified.

Where it’s headed

Robinhood Chain went live with its public mainnet on July 1 as an Arbitrum Orbit rollup under chain ID 4663, targeting block times of about 100 milliseconds. Robinhood Wallet supports bridging in from Solana, Ethereum and Arbitrum, and CEO Vlad Tenev put out a guide for moving assets across from Solana.

Genuine NFT activity has followed since OpenSea switched on support at launch. By July 23, seven collections had traded more than 1,500 ETH between them: pyopyopyopyo, StonkBrokers, OnChainHoodies, Gremlin Cartel, Robinhood Punks, Cash Cats and Robbin Hood Babies. Gremlin Cartel by itself neared 277.6 ETH in cumulative volume, its floor rising from a 0.001 ETH mint to 0.018 ETH, while Robbin Hood Babies cleared 59.1 ETH over the same stretch.

The ride hasn’t been frictionless. On Sept. 4, block production stalled for somewhere between four and 14 minutes, at a time when the network was clearing more than 11 million daily transactions. Robinhood said no funds were lost and no unauthorized transfers occurred. The company hadn’t published a post-mortem.

The migration meme

Sol Siege is the latest entry in a migration narrative that began as a bit. Prediction market World said in July that it was leaving Solana for Robinhood Chain, and the post went viral, prompting copycat announcements from pump.fun and GMTrade.

Solana’s official account weighed in on July 12, saying most of those announcements were intended as jokes. World’s team later confirmed its own was one of them.
