Mon Studios has kicked off a month-long competition in its monster-catching MMORPG, Spellborne, offering players a chance to win from a $250,000 $BORNE token prize pool.
The event, called Enchanted Guild Wars, runs from June 2 to July 2 and invites community guilds to team up and compete by capturing rare monsters for points.
Team Up, Capture, and Climb the Leaderboard
Enchanted Guild Wars is Spellborne’s first major competitive event focused on guild-based gameplay. During the event, players form or join guilds to catch rare monsters using different types of crystals. Each successful catch earns points, and the rarer the monster, the higher the score. Players can also earn bonus points for monsters with over 200 innate potential.
The 10 guilds with the most points at the end of the event will win a portion of the 250,000 $BORNE prize pool. The top guild will receive 75,000 $BORNE, with rewards scaling down to 10,000 $BORNE for the 6th through 10th places.
$BORNE Token Launch Coming Soon
The event also ties in with the upcoming Token Generation Event (TGE) for $BORNE, Spellborne’s core in-game token. The TGE is expected to take place during June via Blackhole, a decentralized exchange built on Avalanche by SuperVerse and co-founded by crypto influencers Alex Becker and EllioTrades. Guild rewards will be distributed after the TGE concludes.
How to Join the Action
To participate, players can either join an existing guild or create their own. Forming a guild requires 400 gold nuggets and an Apartment NFT, which is available on OpenSea. However, due to temporary limitations on guild creation, joining an existing guild through the game or Discord community may be the faster option.
Each guild can host up to 50 players. Crystals—used to capture monsters—can be earned through daily missions, crafted in-game, or bought using gold nuggets. These resources are essential to maximize performance during wild monster battles and boost a guild’s chances of topping the leaderboard.
Available Across Platforms
Spellborne is free to play on both web browsers and mobile devices. Android users can download it from the Play Store, while iOS players can access the game via Safari, with a dedicated App Store release planned. An early access version is also heading to the Epic Games Store soon.
