In celebration of its 6th anniversary, TCG Splinterlands has announced a community event to commemorate the game’s journey since its inception in 2018. The event, which runs from 23rd May to 31st May, will feature various activities for fans to participate in.
One of the highlights of the event is the opportunity for fans to share their best memories of Splinterlands on platform X using the hashtag #ageofthebattlemage. By engaging with these posts, community members stand a chance to win a share of 335 Rebellion booster card packs, with 120 winners being selected.
The event will culminate in an open tournament called Rise of the Champion, which promises to be Splinterlands’ biggest tournament of 2024. With a total prize pool of 1,576,000 DEC tokens, valued at $1,245, winners will receive rewards such as Runi NFTs, Land plots, and Rebellion packs based on their ranking in the tournament.
Splinterlands, known for its commitment to providing players with true ownership of their digital assets, has seen fluctuations in its user base over the years. Despite challenges faced during the bear market in 2023, the game continues to attract a dedicated player community. Looking ahead, fans can anticipate revamped gameplay features in various areas, including Land, housing, player avatars, card skins, and boss battles.
