Anticipated fast-paced MOBA game The Machines Arena recently announced the start of its first-ever beta season, beginning today, July 11th. This ground-breaking event offers players an opportunity to collect unique rewards, such as exclusive in-game skins, which have the potential to be minted into NFTs in the future.
Players participating in the beta season can unlock up to four exclusive skins designed for specific game characters, including Zulu, XE, Tesla, and Daye. The XE character, a new addition, will be introduced as the season starts. The beta players will unlock a new skin for every 25 levels they advance by playing Quick Play PvP or the Death Run PvE scenario. Initially, these unique skins will only be available in-game. However, the developers plan to introduce a feature enabling players to mint these skins into NFTs on the Ronin network.
Loyalty Rewards: A Bonus for Early Adopters
The Machines Arena also plans to distribute special loyalty rewards, with exclusive skins reserved for players who engaged with the game before season one. Additionally, those recognized as ‘OG,’ 2021 tournament victors, and content creators will receive unique rewards.
Game Access and Future Developments
Access to The Machines Arena beta version requires a code and the Epic Games launcher. The game will host several code giveaways through its social media channels once the beta season goes live. Originally not designed as a blockchain game, The Machines Arena has extended its vision following its initial beta release. A newly formed partnership with Sky Mavis will allow the introduction of digital collectibles mintable on the Ronin chain.
