Popular virtual world The Sandbox has announced the addition of the limited edition Woo Young Woo avatar collection. The character Woo Young Woo, protagonist of the hit Netflix drama âExtraordinary Attorney Woo,â has garnered international acclaim.
The show, which tells the story of a gifted attorney diagnosed with autism (acted by Park Eun-bin), has made waves worldwide. It’s reportedly the most-watched series in 28 countries, accumulating a staggering 402 million hours watched.
A Limited Edition Release
This latest Sandbox collection features a limited 1,560 Attorney Young-woo avatars. These avatars are designed based on iconic outfits, accessories, and memorable moments from the show. Fans of the series will soon be able to engage with the virtual world of The Sandbox using the Woo Young Woo avatar. They will get to experience famous scenes from the drama, ranging from courtroom dramas to the protagonistâs favorite local restaurant.
How to Secure Your Avatar
Starting October 4th, The Sandbox opened registrations for the Woo Young Woo avatar collection. Owners of previous Sandbox avatars and land properties will automatically qualify for this new collection. The avatar minting for registered users will commence on October 9th at a promotional price, followed by the public minting event on October 11th. The official avatar designs, however, will be revealed at a later undisclosed date.

In a bid to further entice fans, The Sandbox has also announced a special giveaway. A total of 270 lucky avatar owners will receive the Kakaotalk emoticon featuring actor Joo Hyun-young, a vital character from the series.
