Town Star Burned 97.5% of Certain In-Game Items

Town Star, the flagship game of Gala Games, has burned 97.5% of its unused NFTs in a virtual bonfire!

Town Star, the flagship game of Gala Games, has burned 97.5% of its unused NFTs in a virtual bonfire!

This decision came because Town Star had an overabundance of certain NFT items holding the game back. As a result, they burnt almost everything and kept the remaining 2.5% on 10/19.

The Burn List

But where did the other NFTs go? Well, the remaining NFTs (2.5%) were distributed to those running Gala Founder Nodes. It would be more suitable if the NFTs were distributed to the Town Star Nodes, right?

Gala Games stated that they didn’t giveaway these NFTs to the Town Star Nodes validators due to the lack of Town Star Nodes running at the moment. If you are one of the unlucky ones running Town Star Nodes, Gala Games still considers you an early adopter!

Town Star

Town Star is a farm and town-building simulation where players are challenged to develop a farm from scratch in weekly events. Even though the game has simplistic visuals, it is a game of genuine depth and addicting, like Clash of Clans.

When you start the game, the experience is free-to-play, as many buildings don’t need to be bought. Town Star is not just a P2E game – some gamers have reported they have enjoyed the game so much that they forgot the P2E and NFT aspects.
