Ukrainian Government announced yesterday, March 1, an airdrop amid a string of crypto donations.
Ukraine announced on its official account on Twitter that they are ready to receive crypto donations as help due to the unjustified Russian invasion. They also Twitted today, March 2, that a snapshot will be taken tomorrow March 3rd, at 6 pm Kyiv time (11 am EST).
Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Tether (USDT) were the cryptocurrencies Ukraine started accepting after the war and Uniswap has a dedicated page to donate to Ukraine using any ERC-20 token.
Founder of Polkadot Gavin Wood donated $5M worth of Polkadot coins to the Ukrainian Government alone. This is an example of people’s sympathy for Ukraine and an anti-war act to help Ukraine defend its independence against the obsolete ideology of the Russian dictator, Vladimir Putin.
