valhalla frontlines brings flokis vera battles to mobile browsers In Brief:

In Brief:

  • Valhalla has launched Valhalla: Frontlines, a mini-game that puts Vera battles in mobile browsers.
  • Players assemble a squad of Veras, combine their abilities with spells and fight their way across Floki Island, climbing a Trophy Road and collecting Rune Drops along the way.
  • The main Valhalla game is still described as playing best on desktop, and FLOKI’s roadmap includes a separate app for iOS and Android.

Valhalla: Frontlines, a new mini-game from Valhalla that runs in a mobile browser, is now out. The team announced the release on its official X account.

“A new Valhalla mini-game has arrived, bringing battles to your mobile browser!” the Valhalla account posted.

How it plays

A match starts with a team of Veras, the creatures the main game is built around. From there, players “combine their abilities with powerful spells, and battle your way across Floki Island,” according to the post.

The announcement names a Trophy Road for progression and Rune Drops as rewards. It doesn’t explain how either system works or what’s inside a Rune Drop.

The post also left open whether Frontlines ties into players’ existing Veras or the FLOKI token.

Mobile gap

This is the first time Valhalla has offered a mobile-browser format. On the official site, the main game is listed as “Desktop · No install · Loads in your browser,” and the play page says Valhalla plays best on desktop.

A mobile version has been on FLOKI’s list for a long time. Back in March 2024, the FLOKI account said a Valhalla mobile app for iOS and Android would arrive “later this year.” Today’s roadmap shows a Valhalla V1.13 mobile app release for both platforms.

Frontlines is billed as a mini-game and sits apart from that app.

Recent changes to the main game

The mini-game lands shortly after a big patch to the core game. FLOKI said on Oct. 26 that version 1.13.2, called “Special Delivery,” had gone live on mainnet.

With that update, every Vera has its full ability set from the start. The patch also scraps the Vera Condition system, which used to reduce stats by as much as 50% after losses in Ranked or Tournament matches.

Chest drop rates rose from 50% to 100%. The pre-battle Battle Arsenal step is gone, players can now sign in with Google, WeChat, email or phone number, and rewards earned during play go directly to a player’s inbox.

According to the game documentation, players can start without buying $FLOKI, though holding FLOKI or xFLOKI brings tier advantages.

Background

FLOKI launched Valhalla on mainnet on June 30, 2025, following more than three years of development. The game is built on opBNB.

The main game has players exploring Floki Island, taming wild Veras with amulets and sending teams of up to three into simultaneous-turn battles on hexagonal arenas. Every Vera carries its species kit plus an equipped rune ability.

In the first week after the mainnet launch, FLOKI reported more than 100,000 Veras minted on-chain.
