The gaming studio Vulcan Forged has recently announced a set of significant updates and new features for their blockchain game, VulcanVerse. Stamina and Satiety Systems The updates bring a more realistic approach to avatar management through the new stamina and satiety systems as players must now ensure their avatars are well-fed and hydrated to maintain optimum performance, adding a layer of strategy and realism to the game.
Hollow Resources and Cursed Plots: Players will now encounter “Hollow” resources and cursed plots. Hollow resources require transformation before use, while cursed plots present new challenges and require specific strategies to utilize effectively.
A Fast Travel Feature and Fragmented NFTs: Fast travel will be introduced, allowing players to move swiftly across the vast world of VulcanVerse, with the cost varying based on distance and location. Additionally, the game shall incorporate fragmented NFTs, where players can collect and combine NFT shards to create unique items.
An Enhanced Building System: The building system in VulcanVerse is getting a significant upgrade, including a new resource requirement for construction and an asset removal penalty, which aims to balance the game’s economy and resource usage.
Looking ahead, VulcanVerse is planning further enhancements, including terramorphing improvements and a new avatar system developed in collaboration with Ready Player Me.
