9Lives Arena, the upcoming cross-platform 1vs1 Blockchain Game powered by ENJ Economy, announced today their plans to start fundraising via Kickstarter.
Touchhour, an ambitious independent studio, explained that a Kickstarter campaign would help raise funds to develop more content and deliver extra features quickly by hiring more team members.
Kickstarter seems to be a good solution to attract players unfamiliar with cryptocurrencies while balancing the game with the community’s support.
We asked 9Lives Arena CEO why they chose Kickstarter instead of the traditional cryptocurrency fundraising methods.
We choose Kickstarter because, as a platform, it reaches out to a wider community. Besides, the crypto enthusiasts want to reach out to our core target audience, which is the competitive gamer that does not necessarily know anything about crypto-backed items yet and doesn’t have to.
Raph Laemmche, CEO of 9Lives Arena
9Lives Arena will go live on Kickstarter on the 12th of September.
We all know that being an early contributor comes with a plethora of benefits. While there is not much information yet available, the following advantages guarantee everyone who contributes to the Kickstarter campaign.

- Exclusive items available only to Kickstarter backers

9Lives Arena also revealed today the First Kickstarter reward.
The Demon Skull belt
Belts are considered to be special in 9Lives Arena, they don’t contain any stats at all and they are non-craft-able. Considering this, belts are extremely rare to find and they disappear once your champion dies.
Disappointed? Keep reading.
Upon your champions death, your belt will turn to a Trophy/Statue that you can display in your arena or sell it in the marketplace.
In simple English, you will have a rare Trophy that people could literally kill for it. All left to see is who will be the king in the leaderboard with the Demon Skull Belt.
Wonder how the belt looks like? Here you are.
The ancient Atlantean Mages
This exclusive items set is available only for Kickstarter Backers in purple and green colors.
The set consists of a Head (not a real one), chest, belt, arm, and leg armor blueprints.
Important information you should know is that you have to craft the blueprints, the results depend on your companion’s (Ooogy) crafting level.
Better not to hurry and be sure, but if you want to try your luck, a low-level Ooogy might succeed in crafting an Epic item.
As a cross-platform game, the above items will we accessible through Playstation 4, Xbox, PC, and on the mobile companion App!
