All-Stars program celebrates World Cup stars
Hoping to carry the momentum of the FIFA World Cup forward, Mythical Games is rolling out a three-week All-Stars program inside FIFA Rivals. The limited-time event stays live until August 16, 2023, and brings with it a heightened progression track organised around several of the sport’s marquee names.
At the centre of it all sit 121-power Assembly Mythicals, a lineup that includes Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé, Erling Haaland, Jude Bellingham, Achraf Hakimi and Spain’s Unai Simón. Rather than leaving outcomes to pack-opening luck, the format asks players to gather five fragment types — Vision, Heart, Form, Mind and Soul — and work steadily toward whichever footballer they are chasing over the course of the event.
Sitting alongside that track are the Legendary Chase Flash Events, short bursts of challenge-based play. Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, a brief window opens in which new Legendary players can be earned through gameplay alone. Because these cards never appear in packs, they remain locked behind active participation. Each Legendary carries a fragment needed to complete the week’s featured Mythical player, which lends the whole loop a sense of urgency.
Sundays are reserved for a special Mythical Chase event, unlocked by anyone holding all three Legendary fragments. The payoff is a 122-power Mythical player — the highest tier of content FIFA Rivals currently offers. These cards rank among the top-rated renditions of the tournament’s breakout performers, and they function as the All-Stars program’s final prize.
The campaign continues a pattern FIFA Rivals has established of tying live-service content back to what is happening on real pitches.
