Rather than laying out the rules, scoring and rewards on X, the studio parked those details in its documentation and pointed players there from the announcement post.

What a personal tournament is

In its announcement, Chainers described the setup this way: “Personal Tournaments turn your everyday farming into a leaderboard battle.” The post pitched the format as “Your new way of earning rewards.”

Previous Chainers competitions have largely taken place away from the farm itself — referral campaigns, Gleam task tiers and mini-game runs. That’s what sets this one apart: it layers directly onto the loop players are already grinding.

How the farm feeds it

Biopoints are the engine behind Chainers Farm. After growing crops and raising animals, players deposit harvested goods into reward pools that open six times daily, with each player’s payout scaling to the share they contributed to the total pool.

Payouts from those pools come in $BNB, internal $POL and CFB.

Every account falls into one of four tiers, determined by the lifetime biopoints it has put into reward pools. Following a rebalance, Tier 2 pays out 360 $POL per day and Tier 3 pays 702 $POL daily.

Livestock decisions matter under the hood. Producing bird food consumes fewer resources, yet eggs bring back fewer biopoints than cow milk does, and the studio has advised players to weigh which animals to feed and which products to collect. Merging animals and beds produces rarer versions that in turn yield higher quality produce.

Driving all of this are Farm Cards, which hold the seeds, plots, fertilizers and devices. Boosts get bigger as cards get rarer, and cards can be burned or merged into better assets.

The currency question

The one piece players can’t cash out is CFB. Chainers Fidelity Bonds sit on the internal balance with no route to an external wallet, and CFB stepped up as the main in-game currency once $FRI was removed. Players spend it in the Chainers Shop on extra boosters and seasonal cards.

The token began life as a commitment to former $CHU holders who had bought in ahead of the token’s Uniswap delisting in December 2023. Once the new $CHU launches, each CFB converts at a rate of 1.2 CHU.

$POL picked up through farm events, by contrast, can be withdrawn to self-custodial wallets.

Background

Back in November 2025, Chainers confirmed the $CHU listing and said more than 600,000 players had passed through its universe. The plan is for the token to serve as the game’s hard currency across governance, staking, marketplace transactions and premium content, sitting alongside external currencies such as $POL, $BNB and $IMX.

The game is built on Chainers Chain, a Polygon Edge sidechain, and has integrated with Immutable. No download is required — it runs in the browser.

Surrounding the farm, the studio operates a Season Pass spanning 25 levels across six weeks, split between a free track carrying core rewards and a golden pass that layers on premium rewards and infinite levels. Every player gets one free mini-game attempt daily, and a booster unlocks on the first win. Timers reset the daily and weekly missions, and rewards left unclaimed expire.

Two words closed out the tournament announcement: “Raise your pitchfork!”
