Guilds Go Live in AFK Heroes: Members Can Earn Up to 25% Extra $AFKHERO

AFK Heroes has switched on guilds, and signing up for one lifts the returns for everyone in the group.

The studio set the ceilings at up to 25% more $AFKHERO, 100% more XP and 100% more Gold. “Build a team. Level it up together. Every member earns more $AFKHERO, XP and Gold,” the team wrote in a post on X.

Those figures are maximums rather than guaranteed rates. No public tier table has been released explaining what a guild actually needs to accomplish to hit them.

Part of the Season 2 slate

Guilds were one of the features the studio tied to Season 2, which opened Friday, July 24 after an early-access waitlist. That same release also delivered crafting, tournaments, PvP, server-wide zone bosses and a Powerball feature.

Access ahead of launch came via a Founder Pack limited to 500 units — the sole route to the Japanese Ronin skin.

Season 1 progress survived the transition. Anyone who kept grinding could bring permanent buffs forward into Season 2, although the team maintained that all players would begin the season on level footing.

Power Level already reweighted payouts

This guild bonus follows by several weeks a change in how the shared reward pool is divided. Since Aug. 1, hero Power Level has been factored into distributions, meaning stronger accounts claim a bigger cut.

“Power Level has been added as an additional factor in reward pool distributions,” the team said. “All existing earning mechanics remain active, but now, stronger Heroes can receive a bigger share of the pool.”

Prior to that, an economy overhaul raised daily emissions from 5% to 20% and added an Earning Boost worth up to 80%.

A lot of the advice circulating on maximizing that boost comes from players rather than the studio. Community guides assert that every linked social account adds 10%, that a 50,000 AFKHERO balance counts toward the total, and that players below an 80% boost lose offline earnings. One heavily circulated guide pegs the in-game spend required to clear the bar at about $6. None of it has been confirmed by the project.

Gold is worth more than it was

With guilds doubling it, Gold carries more weight than before. According to the team, 1,000 Gold went from 0.20 $AFKHERO at the close of Season 1 to 0.6631 $AFKHERO — a 232% jump.

XP drives the same loop from the opposite direction. Heroes at higher levels unlock later zones, and as of August they also pull more out of the reward pool.

The token

$AFKHERO originated on pump.fun and graduated. Roughly 944.82 million tokens are in circulation out of a 1 billion total supply, spread across about 4,459 wallets.

On Aug. 16 the token changed hands near $0.000047, putting its market cap around $45,000 — down from roughly $61,850 in early August. It peaked at an all-time high of $0.0005347, with an all-time low of $0.00004027.

Concentration is heading the wrong way. The top 10 holders sat on 72.11% of supply in early August, a figure that reached 85.91% by mid-month.

Background

AFK Heroes went live on Solana in June. The voxel idle RPG plays in a browser with nothing to download, and heroes carry on fighting, looting and earning even after the tab is closed.

Players link Phantom or Solflare and dispatch a hero onto the map. The zone progression begins with Frozen Spire at level 40, passes through Molten Foundry and finishes at Singularity Vault for level 90 and above, with a boss in each.

Liquidity underpinning the whole thing stands at roughly $9,400 on the AFKHERO/WSOL pair.
