Rewards by season

The developers also shared the U.S. dollar value of the rewards at the start of each season. The figure was about $2,300 for Season 1, about $3,700 for Season 2 and about $9,400 for Season 3.

Season 4 has a 60M reward pool, along with 20M for staking and 20M for prizes.

These dollar values depend on the price of AFKHERO, which has stayed low and volatile. The token launched on Pump.fun, and its supply is capped at 1 billion. The project’s X profile recently listed it at $0.000174.

Paragon holders went first

Access opened in two stages. Paragon Pack holders could start playing at 3 p.m. UTC, and the game opened to everyone else an hour later, at 4 p.m. UTC.

The Paragon Pack presale began on Oct. 13. Only 150 numbered packs were offered, each priced at 0.99 SOL, with a limit of one per wallet. The packs were scheduled for delivery at the Season 4 launch.

The sale ran in three waves. Wave 1 was for Founder and Vanguard holders, who got 10% off. Season 1 veterans and past pack owners came next, and Wave 3 was open to everyone. Anyone who paid in AFKHERO also got a 10% discount.

Staking vault already full

The 20M staking allocation comes after a milestone in September. On Sept. 10, the team said its staking vault had hit its cap of 250 million AFKHERO, which is 25% of the total supply.

The vault reached that limit about three weeks into Season 3. The team still hasn’t shared lock terms, reward rates or a date for when the vault opens.

How the seasons have grown

AFK Heroes launched in June 2026 as a free browser game. Players connect a wallet and send a voxel hero through nine zones, collecting gear and building up a Power Level. That Power Level sets each player’s share of the reward pool. Players can withdraw the AFKHERO they earn.

Season 2 began on July 24 with a pool of 113.6 million tokens. In the first week, more than 10,000 wallets connected and about 6,000 players were active. During the season, the team added 50 million AFKHERO to the pool, raised daily emissions from 5% to 20% and introduced an earning boost worth up to 80%. Guilds could earn up to 25% more AFKHERO.

By the end of Season 2, players had deposited 378.9 million AFKHERO, and 126 million had been paid out.

Season 3 started on Aug. 28. It reset every hero to level 1 and tripled the Season 2 prize pool. The team promoted the reset as a “fresh start, fair shot, more to earn.”

New modes ahead of launch

The studio added several features before Season 4. On Oct. 15, it replaced turn-based PvP with live 1v1 duels that have three classes and 15 skills. Mining also launched, with three zones of 91 hexes each.

The game is also listed on the Solana dApp Store. Seeker phone owners can claim a one-time welcome pack. It includes a Mythic gear set, 50 Grand Jug potions, three-hour XP and drop boosts and a Seeker name tag.

Wave 1 of the Paragon presale ended with 71 of the 150 packs sold.
