THQ Nordic has finally set a date for Titan Quest II. The action RPG, developed by Grimlore Games, arrives on January 19, 2027, across PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

What you pay will vary by platform: the PC version costs $49.99, while console players will spend $59.99. With a $10 difference between them, it’s worth weighing your options before choosing where to play.

The end of early access is in sight

For those who haven’t been following along, Titan Quest II has been around for a while. PC players have had early access since August 2025, and the January date marks the 1.0 launch, meaning this is the complete version of the game.

Throughout that period, Grimlore has gathered extensive feedback from players and leaned on it to prioritize fixes. Its largest update to date landed last June in the form of a new Chapter that brought additional quests, events and bosses.

Alongside the release date, the studio also dropped a new trailer, offering one more glimpse at the state of the finished game.

What’s new in 1.0

The full launch brings the final chapter along with new armor sets, fresh items and additional content. Early access veterans who have sunk hours into the game will care most about that final chapter, as it delivers the closing act the story has been lacking.

Mythology, monsters and piles of loot

Newcomers to the franchise can grasp the concept quickly. THQ Nordic describes Titan Quest II as a classic action RPG set in Ancient Greece and packed with Gods, monsters and mythical creatures.

Fights play out in real time, much like Diablo and Path of Exile. Layered on top are deep character progression, loot, skills and a choice of several classes.

Put simply, it’s an isometric click-and-kill adventure that swaps the usual generic dark fantasy setting for foes drawn straight from Greek mythology.

Mark January 19 in your calendar. That’s when you’ll find out whether the creatures of Ancient Greece justify the $49.99 price tag.
