Onchain Heroes wraps up Deed Season as 7,600 players log 227,000 runs

Onchain Heroes has brought Deed Season, its crossover with Yield Fields, to a close. The team reported that 7,600 players racked up 227,000 runs in Maze of Gains as they competed for whitelist places ahead of the Yield Fields Deed mint.

Announcing the finish on X, the team wrote: “Deed Season is officially over!” It summed up the event as “10 days. 7.6k farmers. 227k runs. One incredible grind for a spot on the Yield Fields whitelist.”

The team promised a breakdown of how the event unfolded and what follows. The announcement did not include a date for the mint.

How the whitelist was split

Deed Season offered 850 whitelist spots in total. As announced, the event ran from Sept. 17 to Sept. 28 and wrapped up at 4 p.m. UTC.

Two separate systems shared out those spots. The Silo accounted for 575 and rewarded players according to their leaderboard position. The rest were allocated through two distinct raffles.

Players entered both by spending Golden Corn, which is farmed in Maze of Gains, along with World’s Eve items. Corn farming remained open right up until the event locked.

Participation did not require an NFT. An expedition pass increased loot, but players could qualify without one.

Where the Eve items came from

The item chain began in the Onchain Heroes idle RPG, where fishing with Genesis Heroes could yield Eve Keys. Those keys unlock World’s Eve dungeon runs.

World Seeds drop from those runs, and the seeds in turn open Eve Caches holding Eve items. For the length of Deed Season, Eve Keys also counted as Eve items.

In parallel with the event, Maze of Gains introduced support for MetaMask, Rabby and Robinhood wallets, and nine World’s Eve items went up on the in-game marketplace.

The Deed

Yield Fields is a farming game on Robinhood Chain in which players can plant seeds and harvest $YIELD without owning an NFT.

The Founding Deed is an optional upgrade capped at 3,333. On top of the free farm, it unlocks an additional gameplay loop and extra resources. The 850 spots from Deed Season represent roughly a quarter of that supply.

The community also built its own tools for the event. A GitHub calculator called “Silo or Raffle?” let players input a Golden Corn balance and compare its value on each side at the close, including the Silo whitelist tier that amount would reach.

Background

Onchain Heroes is built on Abstract and powered by Proof of Play. It debuted as an idle RPG restricted to Genesis Hero holders, and Season 1 later added leveling, an Endgame Dungeon and permadeath.

Season 2 introduced the world boss Dragma, along with crafting, gear remixing and weapon upgrades. The team then moved away from short seasons in favor of OCH World, a persistent world whose launch was pushed from Q4 2025 to early Q1 2026. World’s Eve opened that world this spring, starting with Primora as the first zone.

In April, the team rolled out Valor, a stablecoin purchased with USDC on Abstract mainnet, together with an in-game marketplace. $HERO remained in place as a premium currency.

The team ended its Deed Season post with a message to players: “Thank you to everyone who showed up and fought for it.”
