My Neighbor Alice, the multiplayer builder game developed by ChromaWay, has announced a partnership with Pudgy Penguins to introduce a dedicated Pudgy Land region.
The collaboration brings all Pudgy collections, 8,888 Pudgy Penguins, 22,222 Lil Pudgys, and 7,399 Pudgy Rods, into My Neighbor Alice as interactive 3D avatars. NFT holders can now explore the open world using their personal Pudgy characters and gain access to exclusive in-game content, including quests, accessories, and crafting items.
New Region, New Gameplay
To support the launch, the game is introducing “Snowflake Wilds,” a new winter-themed area designed as a social and questing hub. At its core is Pudgy Land, where players can interact with other holders, complete activities, and even hatch their NFT from an egg into the exact character they own. Pudgy Rod holders also gain special access to custom fishing features, while all three collections can unlock unique emotes and avatar customization options.
Creating a Connected Metaverse
Steve Haßenpflug, VP of Games at ChromaWay, described the move as a significant leap in Web3 integration: “We’ve transformed all 40,000 Pudgy items into native 3D assets inside the game. Now users can experience their NFTs beyond ownership, they can live through them, play with them, and even build new experiences for others.”
The integration showcases what cross-ecosystem partnerships can achieve in the evolving metaverse. It arrives alongside the launch of Chapter One: A New Beginning, timed for June 17, which is expected to attract both returning and new players.
While many features are exclusive to Pudgy NFT holders, the broader My Neighbor Alice community can still enjoy seasonal quests and themed rewards. For Pudgy owners, the experience goes further, with quests given by themed NPCs, special clothing to craft, and monetizable emotes they can sell to other players.
