In Brief:
- Ronin has named Dragon Rings as the Founders NFT collection of Calamity (official site), the action MMORPG that migrated to its chain from Treasure.
- According to Ronin, holders receive both onchain and in-game perks, boosts inside Calamity among them.
- Each Ring began life as an Artifact on the Base network. Players burned their Artifact to get a Ring, which was the opening step of Calamity’s migration to Ronin.
Ronin is putting Calamity’s Dragon Rings in front of its community, describing the collection as the game’s Founders NFTs and pointing users to it on Ronin Market.
In a post on X, Ronin wrote: “Dragon Rings are Calamity’s Founders NFT collection. Each Ring unlocks exclusive onchain and in-game benefits for holders, including boosts inside Calamity.”

The post did not say what the boosts are or how big they will be.
Built from burned Artifacts
The Rings came about because Calamity moved from Treasure to Ronin. Treasure changed its strategy and stopped supporting third-party games, and the studio left the platform as a result.
The move started with converting NFTs. From April 28, anyone holding one of Calamity’s Artifact NFTs, minted on Base, could migrate it. The player burned the Artifact in the migration interface, and a matching Dragon Ring then landed directly in their connected Ronin wallet. There was no claim transaction.
Calamity calls the Rings legacy items for early contributors and long-time players. Beyond their cosmetic value, they open up some staking and future reward paths in the game’s $WYRM economy. They are not a substitute for the gear and skill progression players earn by playing.
On the market
On Ronin Market, the Rings trade as ERC-721 tokens under contract 0x58fac88b5899fd894fb7153d3c8a12db05333ac5, and they carry a 4.25% creator fee. Every Ring has traits such as Gem Color and Type. Blue is one of the gem colors, and Zephyr is one of the types.
This isn’t the first time Ronin has handed out a Ring. In September 2025, the winner of a Calamity wishlist contest received one.
Ronin said at the time: “We just sent out the Dragon Ring NFT to the winner of the @PlayCalamity Wishlist contest! The lucky winner’s wallet ends in… 876c0 👀 Stay tuned for more ways to earn rewards by supporting games on Ronin!”
Factories and $WYRM
Calamity has other NFTs besides the Rings. The studio has also announced Factory NFTs, a set of 9,999 production spaces owned by players and linked to $WYRM.
The announcement says each Tier 1 Factory holder can earn a total of up to 5,500 $WYRM from airdrops and staking.
Since moving to Ronin, Calamity has rebuilt its infrastructure. The work brought upgrades for Artifact-based NFTs and rewards backed by smart contracts, and the rollout will happen over several seasons.
The game
Calamity Studios makes Calamity, a real-time 2D action MMORPG that is now in open beta. The game is free to play, and players don’t need a wallet or any NFTs to start.
It has three classes, more than 40 skills and 30 customizable stats. Players can loot, trade or equip more than 150 items. The core loop is built on dungeon raids, survival challenges and open trading.
Earlier in 2025, the studio finished its Play-to-Airdrop campaigns, which paid rewards to players who took part in dungeon runs and beta progression events. Guild content has expanded since the open beta launched, so coordinated dungeon clears and resource sharing now matter more in the game.
The Artifacts that turned into Rings are gone. Each was burned on Base when its owner got a Dragon Ring on Ronin.
