Animoca Brands and Shima Capital co-led a $3M Funding for a new MOBA NFT game Worldpark Studios which has experienced veteran developers from Riot Games (League Of Legends), Blizzard (World of Warcraft) and more.
The game will be called Edenbrawl and it’s the first title of the the newly established startup established by talented and experience game developers.
Additional Investors include AAG Ventures, YGGSEA, Sfermion, Alameda Ventures, and Jump Capital.
What is Edenbrawl?
Edenbrawl formerly known as Circuits and Shields is a MOBA game which combines features of a brawler combat creating a Mobrawler. A skill-based game with different champions, tactics and a thrilling gameplay experience that will amaze you.
Choose your champion from a diversity of roles, between Vanguard, Assault and Support, fight alongside your teammates, eliminating enemies, and forming tactics in order to win each game.
From what we know so far, the game will not have pay-to-win mechanics and Edenbrawl will only have cosmetic assets such as skins, emote and dances.
“Most MOBAs in the blockchain space right now—for lack of a better term, they’re a little ‘pay-to-win,’ and that kind of ruins the competitiveness of it. We absolutely cannot do that if we want to be this long-term, sustainable, competitive game. The only thing NFTs can be in Edenbrawl is cosmetics.”
Worldspark Studios told to Decrypt.
