FLOKI has officially announced that its metaverse MMORPG, Valhalla, will go live on the mainnet on June 30. The browser-based blockchain game blends turn-based combat, NFT-powered gameplay, and real-time multiplayer exploration.

Players will be able to earn FLOKI tokens through battles, quests, and trading, marking a significant move for both the project and the broader play-to-earn ecosystem.

A Strategic Step Toward Real Utility

Valhalla is a key part of FLOKI’s plan to give its token real use beyond speculation. Built with blockchain from the ground up, the game lets players own in-game assets like creatures, items, and resources, all as NFTs.

These can be traded freely and offer real-world value tied directly to gameplay. At launch, players will be rewarded with FLOKI tokens for their in-game actions — turning time spent into actual earnings.

Valhalla offers two main experiences. The open-world mode allows players to explore Floki Island, join quests, form clans, and trade assets with others in real time. Towns and landmarks serve as social hubs, making the game feel like a living world rather than a static experience.

In battle mode, players engage in strategic, turn-based duels on a hexagonal grid, using unique creatures called Veras. Winning depends on smart planning and using each Vera’s abilities wisely.

Backed by Community and Expanding Reach

FLOKI’s team, known for creating one of crypto’s earliest community-led projects, emphasizes they are building for long-term value, not hype. Pedro Vidal, FLOKI’s Community Relations Officer, stated that Valhalla was created to fix the shortcomings of blockchain gaming and offer an experience that real gamers will enjoy.

In parallel with the game launch, FLOKI has been ramping up visibility through esports and sports marketing. Valhalla is a presenting partner for the 2025 Global Esports Industry Week and a sponsor of the Baroda Premier League, a cricket event expected to reach millions of viewers. The project has also partnered with esports team Method and recently ran a billboard campaign in Times Square along with national U.S. television ads.

Before the mainnet launch, FLOKI has continued to upgrade the testnet version of Valhalla, adding new content like enchanted amulets and a rare in-game resource known as Vera Essence. These updates give a preview of the depth and evolving nature of the game.
