gigaverse links gigling racing to loot survivor dungeon keys in fresh In Brief:

In Brief:

  • Gigaverse (official site) has teamed up with Loot Survivor for a joint event where players compete in Gigling races to earn rewards, among them dungeon keys that work in the Starknet dungeon-crawler.
  • Per a breakdown of the event, the prize haul also features a boosted ETH jackpot pool with improved win odds, obtainable skins, and pooled creator fees.
  • This marks the second occasion Gigaverse has linked its racing mode to another title’s dungeon keys, following a June team-up with Cambria.

By tying its Gigling races into Loot Survivor, Gigaverse gives players a way to claim dungeon keys for the Starknet title through the Abstract RPG’s onchain racing mode.

Details of the event came from a rundown shared by the account @whenlamboBU, who described it as kicking off the next day and tagged the post as “part 1” of the breakdown.

How the races work

With Gigling racing, players build their own races. The organizer decides the ETH entry fee, the length of the race, and any items that might tip the outcome — think performance-boosting butterflies or troublesome dung.

A single race can field as many as eight Giglings. Under the default rules, 90% of the pooled entry fees are paid out to the winners.

Fairness is managed onchain through a Race Oracle, and players are able to breed Giglings to fine-tune their traits ahead of upcoming races.

Dungeon keys, again

This approach isn’t a first for Gigaverse. The studio held a comparable crossover with Cambria between June 23 and June 27, putting on 200 free-to-play races that each handed out 25 dungeon keys for use in that title.

Held twice a day at 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. UTC, those races were open to players even without a Gigaverse account. Both titles run on the Abstract network.

On this occasion the keys are aimed at Loot Survivor instead, stretching the cross-game reward loop onto a separate chain.

About the games

Built on Starknet by BibliothecaDAO, Loot Survivor is a fully onchain arcade dungeon-crawler. Its 2.0 edition hit full release in August 2025 and has racked up $250,000 in in-game sales across the five months since, as players collect $SURVIVOR tokens and hunt beast bounties.

Gigaverse is a browser-based onchain RPG made by GLHFers, live on Abstract and powered by Proof of Play infrastructure. Players burn energy to tackle dungeons, craft gear, fish, and buy and sell items via a built-in marketplace.

To date, the game has recorded over 22.1 million dungeon runs. Under the standard Gigling race, the winner pockets 90% of the entry fees.
