In Brief:
- Pixion Games is launching the Competitive Guild Season for Fableborne (official site) on Aug. 19, seven days after Season 5 arrives on Aug. 12.
- Guilds can sign up now at fableborne.com/guilds; membership tops out at 50 per guild, and rewards are distributed across two distinct leaderboards, one solo and one for guilds.
- There’s no set figure for the $POWER prize pool. It fills as players spend, taking in as much as 70% of webshop revenue, with Power Chests left out.
Developer Pixion Games says Fableborne’s Competitive Guild Season will open on Aug. 19, a full seven days after Season 5 arrives on Aug. 12.
That week-long delay is intentional. “The Competitive Guild Season begins August 19th, giving you a full week of play time to prepare,” the studio wrote in a post on X.

Sign-ups are live at the guilds portal, fableborne.com/guilds. Anyone can either enlist in a guild that already exists or found a new one and take the leader slot themselves. A guild’s roster tops out at 50 players.
How the scoring works
The contest runs on a pair of currencies. Taking part in events earns Guild Valor, which is spent on GG Chests in the in-game shop. Open a chest and it returns a randomized quantity of Guild Glory — and Glory is what actually matters, since it drives a player’s position on the solo board while also adding to their guild’s cumulative score.
The solo and guild boards each carry their own reward sets. Because of that separation, a smaller guild can still finish in the money without fielding and funding a full 50-player roster. A player’s individual payout scales with the Guild Glory they personally earned, whereas everyone in a high-placing guild gets paid according to where the guild landed. A share of what members earn goes to the guild leader.
The pool floats with spending
Up to 70% of what Fableborne's webshop takes in over the course of the guild season is funneled into the $POWER prize pool, with Power Chests carved out. Nothing seeds the pool at the start — it simply climbs as players spend.
The only reference point available is Season 4. That’s when guilds made their debut, over a 17-day stretch from Dec. 8 to Dec. 24, and the pool wrapped up at 1.66 million POWER. Season 4 as a whole continued until Jan. 5. No Season 5 target has been published by Pixion.
What Season 5 adds
Season 5 introduces Equipment, and with it Glyphs, the upgrade resource for items. Glyphs come in four types, and the cycle is place, produce, upgrade: station one or more workers in your Kingdom, generate the Glyphs you’re after, then put them toward gear.
The stats items can carry are Health Regen, Movement Speed, Added Damage, Critical Damage and Damage Reduction. Pixion says every item unlocks a different playstyle.
Workers have been reworked as well. Each one now has a health bar, and the state it’s in feeds straight into how much Glyph and Trophy output that worker generates. Campaign levels and quests, player level-ups and Worker Shards are the ways to acquire them.
The roster also gains two Vanguard units. Guard is a tanky melee fighter, and its Guard Stance punishes attacks that land at the wrong moment. Blob survives any single hit and splits into smaller blobs on defeat, making timing and area damage something players have to plan around. Per the Google Play listing, there’s also a brand-new campaign and better pre-raid planning.
Background
Built by London-based Pixion Games, Fableborne is a free-to-play mobile ARPG and base builder that takes place in the Shatterlands. Season 3 marked its migration from Avalanche to Ronin.
The worldwide open beta went live Dec. 2 running the Season 4 build. To date the game has attracted over 380,000 players, with a peak of 108,000.
Binance Alpha hosted the $POWER token generation event on Dec. 5, alongside an airdrop claimable via Alpha Points. Out of a 1 billion total supply, 210 million circulated at launch. Staking Season 3 kicked off July 23 at 2 p.m. UTC carrying 2,200,200 POWER in rewards, distributed through the Fableborne Kingdoms NFT collection, which sets aside 4% of total supply for rewards.
As for funding, March saw Bitkraft commit a further $3 million to Pixion’s Power protocol. The studio’s total raised now stands at $12.4 million.
This isn’t the first time guild recruitment has come with a budget attached. In the run-up to Season 4, Pixion operated a Guild Surge Program offering accepted applicants up to $25,000, provided they had a minimum of 10 members and past guild management experience in either a web2 or web3 title. A week before Season 5 launched, the studio also rolled out a Creator Affiliate Program that gives creators 10% of the spending from players they refer.
