What gets wiped and what carries over

The official Season 2 docs set out the wipe. Levels and XP drop back to 1, and players earn the skill tree and skill points again one level at a time. Each hero’s current wave falls to 1 and the record wave to 0. Deaths, exhaustion and the retreat wall are reset too.

The inventory stays. That means all items along with their upgrade levels, plus pets, potions, scrolls, boxes, fragments, keys, shards, gold and scrap. The rune tree remains, and every rune a player owns works at any level. Nothing changes for $SIEGE and vSIEGE balances, the Codex, titles, frames, hero mints, Genesis cards or access tiers.

With record waves back at 0, the wave gates apply again. Trade board posting opens at wave 50, withdrawals at wave 150, and selling on the scrap and gold markets at wave 1,000.

The studio advised players to claim AFK earnings before the 16:00 UTC reset, because time spent away before it does not carry over. Season 1 Battle Pass rewards that were earned but left unclaimed are claimed automatically. The higher daily withdrawal limit from Season 1 Premium expired when Season 2 began, and Season 2 Premium brings it back.

A helmet slot and six-piece sets

The helmet is now the sixth gear slot. It has 0.8x damage and 0.5x HP, with no crit or speed. According to the docs, that makes it the largest damage source after the weapon.

Wave drops, boss drops and Battle Pass boxes now roll one of five slots, with a 1 in 5 chance for each. Pity boxes roll one of six. The shop sells a Helmet Box for $0.50. The Starter Pack now contains five boxes and the Expert Pack 10 Royal Boxes, and both include helmets.

Sets now require six pieces, and each one gains a 6-piece tier: plus 10% for Epic and plus 18% for Legendary. A complete Mythic set stacks the Legendary bonus with a new plus 18% Mythic bonus, for plus 36% damage and HP. The five-piece version gave plus 24%.

The Mythic cap is still 500 per slot, or 3,000 across six slots. Each Mythic armor, helmet, amulet, boots or ring adds 2% to wave pool points, reaching 10% with all five.

Level 400 and a third rune tier

The level cap rises from 250 to 400. Going from level 250 to 251 takes 71,000,000 XP, and every level after that costs 2.5% more than the previous one. The full climb from 250 to 400 comes to about 112.5 billion XP.

Two new skill tree nodes, Might and Fortitude, open at level 250. Each gives 1% per point to total damage or max HP, up to a cap of 75 points. The tree now holds 405 point slots, and a level 400 hero has 399 points.

The third rune tier brings four paths: Mending, Fury, Bastion and Plunder. Its runes unlock between levels 260 and 380. A single rune costs 300,000 to 4.8 million gold (9.3 million per path), plus $SIEGE worth $1 to $16 at the live price.

A new Codex Helmet page gives up to 10% HP, raising the Codex HP cap from 20% to 30%. Changing class now costs $4 in $SIEGE, down from $10.

10 million $SIEGE for the season ranking

Under Ranks, a new Season tab records the highest wave each player reaches on any hero, online or AFK. When players tie, the one who got to the wave first ranks higher. Banned accounts are taken off the board.

The winner receives 2,000,000 $SIEGE and the Season 2 Paragon Champion title. Second place gets 1,400,000 and third gets 1,000,000, and both come with the Paragon Vanguard title. Ranks 21 to 25 receive 100,000 each, while ranks 26 to 100 get only a Laurel frame. The docs say the 10 million $SIEGE comes out of the treasury, not the reward pool, and will be paid once the season is over and the board has been checked.

Founders Packs

Four numbered packs are on sale for seven days, through Nov. 11 at 16:00 UTC, or until they sell out. Accounts are limited to one of each tier.

The Squire pack is $6 in $SIEGE, with 500 made. Knight is $24 in $SIEGE, with 250 made. Paragon is $60 in $SIEGE, with 200 made. Sovereign costs $100 in ETH, and just 50 exist. Per the docs, $SIEGE payments are charged at the live token price, taken from the in-game balance first and then from the wallet. That means the number of tokens each of the three $SIEGE packs costs depends on the price when the purchase is made.

Each pack gives season-long damage and HP bonuses, from plus 1% for Squire to plus 15% for Sovereign. The packs also include XP boosts ranging from plus 15% for 15 days to plus 100% for 30 days, along with Royal Boxes and gold. Knight and higher tiers unlock withdrawals and the marketplace, but only with a minted hero.

In a separate Boost Box event, players can exchange 10 Boost Embers for a box that holds a timed boost. Embers drop from Warden kills, World Boss hits and Siege Pit runs. Neither the Embers nor the boxes can be traded.

The title at tier 40 of the Season 2 Elite Battle Pass track is “Season 2 Legend.”
