In Brief:
- A new season is under way in Karnage Heroes, Kepithor Studios‘ three-hero PvP game, and leaderboard finishers are paid in KEPI.
- According to the studio, the season can be played through Google Play and Telegram, with rankings wiped every Monday at midday UTC.
- Rather than minting tokens, the prize fund draws on audio ad revenue and in-game fees, and 2.5% of the pool is distributed each week.
Kepithor Studios has kicked off another Karnage Heroes season, attaching KEPI prize money to its weekly PvP ladder. The studio said in a post on X that players can take part via Google Play or Telegram.
Squads are built from three heroes. Saevus headlined the announcement, sold with the line, “He’s already dead. Losing still annoys him.” Players were told to “Give Saevus two teammates and your opponents something to worry about.”

How the ladder works
Combat plays out on its own. AI controls both teams, which puts the effort into choosing a squad and upgrading it instead of managing turns. The routine is to draft three heroes from a collection, level them up for better stats, and win matches to move up the board.
Rankings are cleared each Monday at midday UTC. Anyone placed high enough when the clock expires collects a slice of the KEPI prize pool.
Where the prize money comes from
Revenue from audio ads bankrolls the pool, and 2.5% of it is set aside weekly — 10% across a month — to keep the competition going. Every in-game fee, marketplace transactions included, feeds the same pot. There is no inflationary minting in the model, as Kepithor puts it, so the ceiling on payouts is whatever the ads and fees actually generate.
The same arrangement extends to the studio’s other games. KK Clicker, its idle companion title, uses an identical leaderboard system on a separate schedule, with resets landing Friday at midday UTC.
The token
KEPI is a BEP-20 token living on BNB Smart Chain at contract address 0x099ea74ed0a30f6dcc5c7d5630ece2ab5d147812. It took over from Kingdom Karnage Token in June 2025, and KKT holders could swap at a 1:1 rate.
Every Kepithor game shares it as a currency. A single account logs a player into all of them, KEPI earned from selling an asset in one title can be spent in another, and certain hero characters hold value across the wider ecosystem.
On Sept. 22, KEPI changed hands at roughly $0.0029, a drop of about 3.9% on the day and 19.5% across the week. Its on-chain market cap stood close to $887,000, spread over 3,775 holders. Just one venue supplies liquidity — PancakeSwap v2, where the KEPI/BSC-USD pair handles the token’s entire volume.
Background
Kepithor Studios Ltd operates out of Canterbury, England, and was incorporated Nov. 2, 2018. The UK companies register still lists it as active. Backing for the studio totals $2 million, with Animoca Brands, Digital Finance Group and Enjin among the investors.
Google Play carries eight live Kepithor apps, the earliest from 2021, which have gathered roughly 90,000 installs and 500 ratings combined. Karnage Heroes appears there under the name KK Heroes: PvP Squad Battle and is also playable through the Play Store’s PC client.
Formats vary widely across the catalog. The universe began with Kingdom Karnage, a turn-based card game; Royal Rampage is a wave-based action game; KK Clicker is an idle RPG; and Kepithor Rewards and EarnZ hand out KEPI for watching ads, filling in surveys and completing offers.
The studio came back to the Enjin ecosystem through ENJ Excavators, a free-to-play mining game that crossed 10,000 installs in February. Integrating Enjin Blockchain took two hours, and Kepithor documented the process as a tutorial for Enjin’s own docs.
Across Sept. 22, KEPI’s 24-hour trading volume amounted to around $1,391 — all of it through that single PancakeSwap pair.
