Mattle’s fresh Seeker Quests require app v3.9.4 before rewards unlock

mattles fresh seeker quests require app v3 9 4 before rewards unlock In Brief:

In Brief:

  • Mattle (official site) rolled out a set of Seeker Quests handing out 7-Day Pengu, Permanent Player2, Energy and Points.
  • To claim any of it, players need app version 3.9.4, which is already live on Google Play and the Solana Dapp Store.
  • Player2 remains gated behind Play Solana holdings or a $MATTLE purchase through the in-game Shop.

In a post on X, Mattle announced a fresh batch of Seeker Quests — and placed the rewards behind a client update.

Rewards on offer include 7-Day Pengu, Permanent Player2, Energy and Points. “Update your app to v3.9.4 to complete the new quests and claim your rewards,” the project said. Both Google Play and the Solana Dapp Store now carry version 3.9.4.

Quest completion is bound to the update by that announcement. Anyone still running an older build receives neither the quests nor the payouts.

What Player2 has cost until now

An exclusive hero reserved for Play Solana and Play Solana NFT users, Player2 opens up for anyone holding the PSG1 Soulbound Token, the Player1 NFT and the Player2 NFT. Mattle describes the character as among the game’s most powerful, and its weapon of choice is a Play Solana console. For everyone outside that holder group, the only route has been paying for the unlock with $MATTLE in the Shop.

Back in March, the studio distributed free Game Passes to Play Solana users, PSG1 (SBT), Player1 and Player2 holders among them.

Pengu is no stranger to Mattle’s Solana Mobile promotions. A previous Seeker Game Boost campaign dangled Points, Energy, Mattle Keys, as much as 500 $MATTLE and a PENGU Hero in front of Seeker and Saga Genesis wallets. On this occasion, the Pengu reward carries a seven-day term.

Energy and Points are the grind

Each of them feeds Mattle Run — a survival mode built around dodging monster waves and collecting gems that unlock abilities, weapons and upgrades across the Normal, Hard and Cursed difficulties.

Priced at 0.03 SOL, the Game Pass delivers 20 energy per day. Matches remain open to free players, though converting points into MATTLE tokens is off the table for them. Perks sold in the Shop lift daily energy or multiply per-match points, while a Risk Multiplier swaps survival odds for a larger score and Auto Run continues earning during downtime.

Because point-to-MATTLE conversion scales with leaderboard standing, those perks compound.

The token layer

On Nov. 5, 2025, $MATTLE became the platform’s core token. Trading the token powers up Health, Armor, Speed and Luck, while holding it opens daily rewards and holder quests.

Volume routed through Mattle’s terminal turns into Boosting Points that upgrade those same four traits. Staking $MATTLE, meanwhile, unlocks missions, reduces platform fees and opens premium features. The project additionally hosts tournaments with prize pools paid in $MATTLE, USDC and Keys.

Prior Solana Mobile campaigns

Saga and Seeker wallets have been courted by Mattle time and again. A single airdrop delivered a free Game Pass valued at 0.03 SOL — with over 3,000 already sold at that point — together with 100,000 Gaming Points, which the project equated to five days of grinding and said could be converted into airdrops.

Any wallet carrying a Saga Genesis Token, Seeker Genesis Token or Chapter 2 Preorder NFT qualified. Since holding just one sufficed, preorder wallets were eligible before the phones had even shipped. Claiming happened via the Exclusive Quest tab after signing in with a Solana Mobile wallet.

Energy, Mattle Points, Mattle Keys and a Boost All Stats item — worth plus-5% to every stat over seven days — made up the Starter Quest payout.

Solana Mobile’s Seeker Summer campaign of its own runs until Aug. 30, laid out as four two-week rounds featuring 16 apps and two quests each, with badges appearing in the Solana dApp Store and the Seed Vault Wallet activity tracker. Round 1 handed out 25 million SKR. Round 2 received an allocation of 27 million, and claims opened July 30 at 4 p.m. UTC.

Web has typically come first in Mattle’s release cadence. Mattle Run v3.2.0 launched on web, with the mobile build arriving several days later. Version 3.9.4 landed on both stores at once.

The project emerged from the first Solana Mobile Hackathon, alongside Gib Meme, Amp Pay and Nomadz.
