NFT-based Game Planet IX Integrates Chainlink Automation to Help Trigger Batch Randomness Requests

Planet IX, an NFT-based strategy game, has expanded its Chainlink Automation on Polygon mainnet, ultimately helping securely and cost-efficiently trigger batch randomness requests to Chainlink VRF.

Almost a year ago, both parties announced the start of a beneficial partnership between them, resulting in Planet IX integrating Chainlink Verifiable Random Function (VRF) to help automate IXT CAT RAFF winners.

By expanding the Automation integration, Planet IX has further optimized its cost structure and—instead of calling VRF for each NFT created, it will use Automation for batch requests for multiple random numbers.
