To celebrate six years of operation, Nine Chronicles is sending more than 4,000,000 NCG to its players over the next two months, according to a post from the game’s team on X.
The largest share, 3.2 million NCG, is going to Arena. The remainder is divided among 2x rewards, a Stage 500 mission, Monthly Spend Missions, Growth Boosts aimed at new and returning players, and an Adventurer’s Rune handed to every player.

Stage 500 and spend missions
Clearing Stage 500 earns players 2,250 NCG. Separately, Monthly Spend Missions offer bonuses of up to 9,200 NCG linked to how much players spend in the game.
According to the team, players who had already cleared Stage 500 before the event began are eligible as well. Both missions stay open until Nov. 30.
For now, Stage 500 marks the end of the main campaign. The game’s release notes show that stages 471 to 500 were introduced in an earlier update. Those stages drop the materials needed to craft Transcendence (Grade 8) equipment and work with existing features such as Sweep.
Arena takes the lion’s share
As part of the anniversary, Heimdall Arena Season 25 launched on Oct. 7 with 800K NCG at stake, the team posted on X. Odin Arena Championship #18 followed two days later, offering a further 800K NCG.
As a result, two arena events worth 800K NCG each are running simultaneously, one on each of the game’s chains. Heimdall debuted alongside the mobile version, Nine Chronicles M, and operates in parallel with the original Odin chain.
No end date for Heimdall Season 25 has been announced, and the team has not released a rank-by-rank breakdown of rewards.
October 20 update
An Oct. 20 update kicks off the anniversary’s second phase. It introduces Hard World 2, a new Anniversary Dungeon, and permanent Collections and Titles.
Hard World 2 is a significantly tougher difficulty tier. Entry requires Catalyst Potions, which players obtain through in-game activities.
Background
Nine Chronicles is developed by Planetarium Labs. It is a free-to-play RPG rooted in Norse mythology that operates on its own network, featuring NFT items and using NCG as its in-game currency.
The anniversary celebration follows closely on the heels of version 200490. That release introduced Grade 9 Ultimate items as the new highest tier, together with a reworked Adventure Boss and the Bifrost Reforged event dungeon.
With the Grade 9 release came four new Ultimate Runes, split between two for skills and two for stats. Four new Ultimate Auras and nine new Ultimate Grimoires were also added, all obtainable through Summon and Synthesis.
Rather than pointing to event details, the team’s reply to its own anniversary post linked to a guide on backing up private keys in Nine Chronicles M. The guide warned that “there is no way to recover a lost private key, and no one can help you regain access to your assets once it’s gone.”
