Heimdall Arena Season 20 Kickoff
Nine Chronicles, a decentralized, open-source RPG, has recently launched its 20th Heimdall Arena season. In this season, players, known as Cat Warriors, compete in the ranks to earn part of a substantial 400,000 NCG prize pool. Since the inception of the Heimdall chain in late 2023, which brought 1 million NCG across its initial two seasons, the game has distributed millions of NCG to top players.
Revised Season Pass System
Alongside the commencement of the arena season, Nine Chronicles has introduced a revamped Season Pass system consisting of three distinct tracks. This system intends to cater to diverse player types and improve their individual experiences within the game.
The first track, the CouragePass, offers players game materials and exclusive legend titles, which are acquired through Courage EXP earned by interacting with the game’s principal content. The WorldClearPass is designed for players aiming to progress through the game’s world stages, providing Dust and, for Premium Pass holders, additional summoning materials and an exclusive sacred costume. This pass fundamentally supports character progression and aesthetic improvements.
For those who enjoy taking on Adventure Boss challenges, the AdventureBossPass provides rewards that include rune stones essential for enhancing runes. Premium holders of this track receive enhanced rune stone allocations, facilitating more efficient rune upgrades crucial for long-term character growth.
Premium pass holders across all tracks benefit from immediate access to exclusive bonus loot upon purchase, providing a quicker advancement compared to those in the free tier.

Developed by Planetarium Labs, Nine Chronicles offers a play-to-earn model within a fully decentralized framework, operating independently of centralized servers. This setup guarantees that all game logic and transitions are managed on-chain. The game, playable on both PC and mobile platforms, involves a variety of gameplay elements including idle progression, active PvP and PvE, character leveling, equipment crafting, and dungeon running.
