Parallel, the trading card game, has named its sixth Battle Pass season Unlikely Allies, with a start time of 15:00 UTC on Nov. 5. The season comes bundled with Patch 1.2.0, a soft reset of the ranked ladder, one new playable card, two cosmetic card backs and a pair of new titles.
Ladder reset and Patch 1.2.0
Ranked play gets a soft reset as soon as the season goes live. A rank is still only assigned after a player completes five placement matches.
Season 6 also brings version 1.2.0 of the TCG. According to the developers, the update makes many changes to the Tutorial, cleans up the UI/UX and fixes card bugs they describe as “sneaky”.

New card: Fireteam Lead Arch
This season’s new playable card is Fireteam Lead Arch, a rare Augencore unit with a cost of 5. Thanks to the Armed keyword, its damage hits the opponent first. Its Muster ability, which fires again whenever it attacks, deals 3 damage to two random enemies.

Card backs and titles
Card back number one shares the season’s name, Unlikely Allies. Its story is about a secret pact between Jahn, Chief Engineer, and the Earthen people. Rumor held for centuries that Jahn handed the entire Citrine Rose ship to the Earthen. In the lore, Jahn gave only the engine, and gave it to those who were left behind in the cataclysm. After the alliance formed, the engine turned into a symbol of life on Earth, while Jahn kept pushing for peace between the two factions and the planet both hope to call home.

T.A.L.I. Raider is the second card back. The name is short for Tactical Assault Light Infantry, an Augencore unit in an exosuit equipped with a Personal SMR. Despite the “Light Infantry” label, the suit uses smaller heavy plates, so the wearer can move freely without giving up its defensive strength.
Two titles join the game. Silver Flame is earned at Level 2 of the Premium Battle Pass, and Mechlord is earned at Level 50 of the Base Battle Pass.
Lore series and Monthly Melee
Part 6 of Emergence was due out the day after the season was announced, the developers said. It closes the third Battle Pass lore series and covers the origin of the Augencore, their city-sized ship CAINE-1 and two of their Paragons. The Shroud were the subject of Part 5.
The fourth Monthly Melee tournament is set for 11/11. Registration is open to anyone who placed in the Top 100 of last season’s leaderboard. The prize pool includes $PRIME, Glints and other rewards. At the time of the season announcement the full details were not final, and they are set to be posted on the game’s social channels and Discord.
