Pixels, the popular Web3 game, has announced the launch of Guild Crop Wars, an exciting new event where guilds compete to grow the most cave mushrooms to win a share of an $85,000 PIXEL prize pool.
The event has already started and will run until August 5th at 16:00 UTC. Participation is limited to Pixels Guild members, and players must pledge to a guild to participate.
Luke Barwikowski, the founder and CEO of Pixels, expressed his excitement about the event, stating that the introduction of Guild Crop Wars aims to boost engagement and enjoyment within the Pixels community. This event marks the first time in Pixels that guild teamwork and sabotage elements have been incorporated, encouraging players to strategize and work together within their guilds to achieve victory.
During the event, players will engage in activities such as planting spores, watering crops, and harvesting mushrooms. They can also purchase goo for offensive strategies against rival guilds, Fertilizer to accelerate mushroom growth, and Water to defend against sabotage attempts. The game’s main objective is to deposit mushrooms into the Transmushtation Chute to earn Mushroom Points, sabotage competitors, reach milestones, climb the leaderboards, and earn PIXEL rewards.
Moreover, the event will feature milestones for various individual and guild activities, including using goo on other guild crops, earning guano points, and accumulating spore points. Each activity will have a designated point value, and players’ progress will be tracked on in-game leaderboards.
