Pixels Reaches 2M Lifetime Wallets as Gaming Activity Peaks

Pixels, a gaming project launched on the Ronin blockchain in November 2023, has reached a significant milestone by surpassing two million lifetime wallets on the platform. The project has attracted approximately 625,000 daily active unique wallets, according to data from DappRadar.

Pixels’ growth can be attributed to its various initiatives, including play-to-airdrop events and collaborations with Mocaverse and Yield Guild Gaming. This success comes amidst a surge in general crypto sentiment, leading to increased visibility of gaming projects that are launching tokens and driving up sector activity.

As gaming activity hits all-time high, Pixels breaks 2 million lifetime wallets

Moreover, the entire blockchain gaming sector is experiencing record-high levels of activity, as illustrated by a graph from Joel John’s Decentralised Substack. The market cap of the top 33 blockchain gaming ecosystem tokens, valued at over $100 million, has now reached $20 billion, with Immutable’s IMX token being the most valuable at a market cap of $4.4 billion.

Although the number of wallets may not always reflect actual human activity, the trend in the sector is undeniably positive, indicating a growing interest in blockchain gaming projects and tokens.
