PlayNFT Launches NFT Marketplace For Twitch & YouTube Streamers Worldwide

PlayNFT, a cross-chain platform, has received more than $300,000 in a funding round from Ripple’s XRPL program, Stacks, Velas, and Near. With the help of these companies, PlayNFT will launch an NFT marketplace and give Twitch & Youtube content creators the ability to create branded NFTs that have utility within games.

The NFT platform plans to create a marketplace where content creators from around the world can create branded non-fungible-tokens (NFTs) that can be later sold within their communities and offer utility in a diversity of games and blockchains. The analytics say that 9.2M Twitch streamers, 51M YouTube content creators, and their communities can mint NFTs on the blockchain of their choice. Ethereum, Polygon, Efinity-Jumpnet (Enjin), Avalanche, Telos, Solana, and Huobi Eco Chain are the blockchains that PlayNFT will allow its users to create NFTs on.

It is reported that, 260 streamers have already signed up to use PlayNFT’s features. Now each one of these creators will have his own storefront where his community can purchase the branded NFTs he created. Utility can also be added in the NFTs and used across multiple games such as Min-Mins and Shield of Shalwend. The NFT company has plans to also add support for TikTok creators in Q3 of 2022. Within their plans is also the addition of play-to-earn Arcade Games where holder can user their NFTs to play and compete for prizes and money rewards.
